Weird Smell

The costumer service was great. It came quickly in a nice little box which was easy with the moving. It expanded quick and off the bat it was comfortable. It took some adjusting to switch to a foam mattress and I was sore from the start. After a month I was no longer sore. I find it comfortable and worth the money. My only main issue is the odor. It almost smells like urine. (my dog is potty trained) I heard this complaint about zen mattresses but didn't want to believe it. I'm finally coming to terms it smells terrible and I'm trying to think of a way to cover up this odor... any ides?

Unbearable Mold Smell

bought two pillows through living social, they arrived folded up in a box, no paperwork, we tried to use them but the smell is unbearable, they also are misleading on the add in living social.. they say bamboo pillows, the stuffing inside is not bamboo, and the cover is only 40% bamboo and 60% polyester.. they have a smell that wont go away, like they either got wet or are made of some cheap material.. i wouldnt recommend these if they were $2 each..others are right you are stuck with them and living social should be ashamed to offer these, will not buy anything from zen or any products thru living social again.. "fool me once"

Ordered Bamboo pillow deal through Living Social. Pillows are as expected, shredded memory foam with bamboo covers. My only problem is that it took 17days to receive them. At what they charged for shipping, they should have been here a lot sooner.

Ordered a mattress 8 weeks ago. Customer service always gets back to me via email but they keep stain they ran out of stock and are awaiting a new shipment. Last they told me the new shipment was supposed to be in by last week. I still have no order..

I ordered a pillow through a Living Social deal--big mistake! Customer service lied to me and Living Social, saying it would ship on September 11. As of today, I have received no tracking number. Do not do business with Zen Bedrooms!

First of all,their website advises you to contact their customer service hotline,WHICH THERE IS NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which is extremely convenient for the company as you are dealing with a tight return window on their DEFECTIVE STINKING LUMPY STIFF REJECT PILLOWS!

Literally the smell is disgusting! Your hair will pick up the scent and it stings your eyes and face to sleep on it ! I think theres something seriously wrong with these pillows.

IF YOU ARE AS DUMB AS I WAS TO FALL FOR THE WONDERFUL PRICING DEAL JUST MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR CREDIT CARD SO THAT YOUR COMPANY WILL DISPUTE THIS OUTRAGEOUS RIP OFF COMPANY WITH NOOOOOOOOO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Ordered bamboo pillows from them, the product that came is such a poor quality like I bought it from a dollar store, lumpy, uncomfortable, and... Non returnable since I already opened it, never will buy from them again, pure junk. Do not buy.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! The King pillows I purchased thru Living Social are lumpy, stink & one I found ripped when taking the outer case off to wash and try to get rid of chemical stink - WHAT A RIP OFF!!!

Horrible Mattress And Even More Horrible Customer Service

I purchased a Luxury Memory Foam Mattress from Zen Bedrooms almost 3 months ago. When the bed arrived I took it out of the box and let it expand for 3 days (Zen Bedrooms states it only needs 2 days). After 3 days of "expanding" the bed was still so hard on the left side it is nowhere close to feeling like a mattress, and the right side is soft to the point that you start rolling/falling off to the right when you lay on it. I went to their website online to find a customer service phone number, but as you can see for yourself they do not provide one (this should have been a red flag in the beginning because I now know why they don't provide one). Therefore, I used their message page on the website to explain the problem and asked for a return. It has now been almost 3 months and I am still emailing Zen Bedrooms back and forth begging for a return since my fiancee and I are now having extreme back aches from this hard/soft foam mess they call a bed. We can not afford to buy a new mattress until we are refunded for this one, which I have told Zen Bedrooms. They are clearly only about the money the company makes since they refuse to accept a return from an extremely unhappy customer. They have been beating around the bush for three months, not caring that they have caused two of their customers a severe amount of back pain.

DO NOT BUY A BED FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY NOT ONLY MAKE THE WORST MATTRESS I HAVE EVER LAYED ON, BUT THE HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HEARD OF.

Extremely Uncomfortable

First of all, the bed took for ever to be delivered, but I had expected that because I had gotten the living social deal. When It finally arrived, I was excited to sleep on it seeing as I had an old mattress that you could almost feel the springs. Somebody had mentioned in a review that it felt like "an old cheap futon", and that about describes it. It's way too hard and my back and hips feel soar. I am especially bummed out because I don't have a ton of money to spend on a luxury items, so i thought i was getting a good deal but i've learned my lesson to next time try before you buy... I do not recommend!

Zen Bedroom Has No Customer Service

Please don't buy from this company. We ordered a mattress through GROUPON and within the 6 weeks we had a delivery date. We called the delivery company and had to leave a voice mail asking them to change the time of delivery because someone needed to be home to sign for it. They never responded so we made arrangements with family to help be there in case it got delivered. The time frame came and went. We called the delivery company and they said they were running a half hour late. No big deal....an hour went by. No Mattress. We called the delivery company again and they told us they didn't know what happened. The next day we called and found out that the mattress was damaged beyond recovery and was never on the truck. After several days and calls of two delivery companies pointing fingers and contacting Groupon because we couldn't get a response from ZEN bedrooms about a replacement. We had to do all the follow ups and stay on the companies to get a replacement. Zen bedroom tried to convince us to get a different mattress with free shipping because if we wanted the same mattress we would have to pay the shipping fee all over again. Zen bedroom used two delivery services that all have terrible reviews - so they don't care about the customer and how the bed gets shipped. They never offered a refund on the shipping fee for all our troubles. Finally got a new mattress in the making (which couldn't be expedited) and shipped. The same shipping company gave us a delivery date and we called and told them no one would be there and could we have a different delivery date. They told us that if we did accept the current delivery date then they couldn't deliver it at all. Well....needless to say we went to the shipping companies location and picked it up ourselves. We paid Zen the shipping cost and they choose the two crappy shipping companies Home Direct USA and Interstate Shipping and Storage (please research and you will see ALL the terrible reviews). We (the customer) were left to deal with the crappy shipping companies and ZEN doesn't care about what their customer went through. No idea of how the mattress has even turned out yet. Just be AWARE of the crappy shipping and customer service. No offer to refund the shipping costs or all the follow up that we had to do ourselves.
