L2 & F2 Fault Codes!
Same issue as other customers, live a new build that’s only 3 years old. Had the boiler serviced every year and now I’m constantly experiencing problems with it. Rang Ideal and because it’s out of the 2 year warranty period, they want £350 for a call out charge. There is a reason they only offer a 2 year warranty with this product.
DO NOT BUY AN IDEAL BOILER!!!

do not buy or install ideal condensing boiler on any second floor as flue noise will send you mental contacted ideal do not want to know cheap boiler and even cheaper flue material definately not good company should be removed from producing items that turn a home into a house in hell
This boiler is not as noisy as some others i have come across. There are quieter boilers out there but they also cost significantly more to buy.
Anyone siting a boiler in an area close to sleeping accommodation needs to choose carefully. The Logic is a sound boiler, very easy to work on and is as reliable as most other modern boilers.

Worst. Boiler. Ever.
This is my second Ideal Boiler. The first one was an Ideal Mini. I had at LEAST 8 call outs in the first 8 months. Ideal said it was my water... the biggest T&C lie ever. It was just so bad that I had another boiler installed after 2 years- unfortunately, I got talked into an Ideal Logic Combi 30. In the first year- they had a batch of faulty heat exchangers- so they repaired it for free under warranty. I have so far had 2 new diverter valves and diverter valve heads. It is a nightmare. Won't send any heat to most of the radiators- even though I had them balanced and the air taken out... It is not even possible to be sure if I am gong to get hot water or a warm room this winter. Nightmare. Just spent another £200.00 for this last visit to replace the diverter valve. So far- the shower is still tepid and the radiators wont get hot. The warranty is only 2 years- so I am just stuck. It was almost to the DAY that the warranty expired that this last round of no heat or hot water happened. I have boiler cover with Scottish power- but they have been less than helpful. I give up!
It's heat AND hot water! Not heat only. I wish I had got the ideal combo plus. This one.... Truly is horrible!
Diverter valve in a heat-only boiler? I don't think so. You have a different boiler to this. Don't scare people away from what is a fairly decent boiler.
thank you for that review. dyson is putting the boilers for the boris Johnson eco scheme. 3 1/2 months ago that they promised fitting it in.
Now we have to pay them extra money and they still have not installed boiler. maybe I better off not getting these boilers. thank you!

This is the rubbish Persimmon fit in their homes. Brand new house brand new boiler, but already had this looked at over 5 times now due to ongoing problems with no hot water. This system only has a 2 year guarantee and is very easy to see why!!!
Same here mine is a Persimmons house and the boiler Logic heat 15 is leaking has been an issue from the start.. Ideal customer service is diabolical..
Never would I recommend this cheap, poorly made pile of junk! After 3 years I'm looking to replace it with a Valliant

I have today had the misfortune of having one of these IDEAL LOGIC HEAT 15 boilers into my home...heres the review IT DOESNT WORK FAULTY ALREADY!!!
Keeps reading F 4 faulty thermostat...yes I reset still wont work, more than five times now reads another fault you have preset reset more than five times in 15 minutes!!! If you buy this boiler after reading this you are an IDIOT!! I now have no heating no hot water and three kids to get ready for school in the morning and a cold night ahead of us!! I will deman they rip it out tomorrow my blood is boiling maybe I should touch the dam tap and heat the dam water myself!! Yes the other boiler I had was faulty it took 24 hours to heat the water but at tleast it got hot eventually!! Now im left with nothing!!
Working perfectly in a fully occupied house for two years, no problems at all.
Fitted these boilers for a while now with no problems.Im a breakdown engineer and find that 9 times out 10 the fault will lie somewhere within the installation. Occasionaly a wire will come loose during transportation and installation but any engineer with a basic knowledge should be able to rectify the fault. If the boiler is correctly registered with Ideal they will normally attend within 24 hrs. Hope your problem has been sorted out
Hope you got this sorted.we had the exact same problem,going to F fault,turned out it wasnt the boiler but the plumber had reversed the piping! all sorted and working fine now. poor you with three kids too.
