Neat Architectural Design
I stayed in the Superior room. Every corner of this room is clean and the whirlpool is amazing. It provides you a sense of security when you're in this room and in this Hotel in general. I believe the hotel itself is a worth-while trip even if you do not go to the other amazing sites. It is that great. Everything was quite comfortable for me. I had the best sleep and I'm usually really stubborn to get to sleep but I felt no worries here. Staff was great and I found myself giving tips for such genuine and wonderful service. Love the wi-fi there was no problem in staying in contact with my friends from my home, and other countries. I could even do my work online in my room without any interruptions.
Beautiful Hotel With Very Welcoming Staff!!
Just got back home from spending a week in Rome in this amazing hotel; I’m so sad that I had to leave. The staff here were as beautiful as the décor throughout this gorgeous hotel and waited on me hand and foot. Located in Prati neighborhood and close to all the major sites, this hotel couldn’t have been better. If you want to see any of the sites like St. Peter’s, Vatican City, Vatican Museums, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza del Popolo or the Villa Borghese then all you have to do is jump on line A. This truly is a beautiful place to spend your vacation and I highly recommend to anyone heading to Rome to check it out. Some rooms also have a Jacuzzi so if you want to splash out then you can. I will be returning again.
Wonderful And Exotic Hotel
One word: MARVELOUS. Hotel Metropolis is a place to remember. When I visited Rome with my fiancé, the beginning of this year, we spent a month there. It was very comfortable and welcoming. Thanks to the pleasant staffs that were there whenever we needed them, they were so helpful. They told us the best places to visit and gave us other useful tips on enjoying our vacation. We enjoyed their in-room Jacuzzi and the spacious rooms. We visited the bar at the hotel and it was quite nice. My fiancé enjoyed it the most; they had champagne tastings which we loved. This is one of our best vacations. Hotel Metropolis was close to everywhere we needed to go, and it had a subway station to take us around town. We went to Piazza del Popolo, Vila Borghese, Vatican City, Castel Sant’Angelo and other wonderful places. Hotel Metropolis is the BEST!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a great place to stay while in Rome.
Loved It!!
Last year I visited Rome several times. I stayed with a friend a couple of times, but most recently, I booked a room at Hotel Metropolis and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Hotel Metropolis is so modern and beautiful and the rooms have all the amenities you could ask for. Some even have Jacuzzis. One of the things that I liked most about my stay at Hotel Metropolis was that it was located in the Prati neighborhood which is where the locals live. I had a ball practicing my Italian with the locals I met while shopping in the neighborhood stores and eating at the restaurants. Another plus is that Hotel Metropolis is located on the bus line and the Lepanto Metro stop which made it really easy to get to the Termini station and other tourist spots and sites of interest all over the city.
Great For Families!
My family and I stayed in the triple deluxe suite at Hotel Metropolis for our vacation. There was more than enough room for my husband and I and our 3 children. The hotel is in a great location; there were lots of places for everyone in our family to enjoy. With the help of a very helpful concierge, we ate at a different restaurant each night and enjoyed each and every one. The best thing about our stay was having everything so close to the hotel. We went to Rome mainly to visit the Vatican city and museums. The hotel was so close that we were able to walk. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to any families planning to visit Rome.
Great Hotel In A Superb Location.
My stay at the Metropolis hotel in Rome was lovely. My beautiful and modern suite even had a jacuzzi in it. Only a short walk away from the metro and bus stops. Even all the major cultural sites are in close proximity of the hotel. I never had any shortage of restaurant during my stay, the streets surrounding the hotel are packed with bars and restaurants.
St. Peter's Hotel
My wife and I took a trip to Rome and our biggest "to do" was seeing St. Peters and all of Vatican City. As a result, we wanted to make sure we stayed in a hotel close to the Vatican. We looked at a few online and chose Hotel Metropolis--it had good reviews on this site and others, so we felt confident booking a room there. It was a little modern for us--we're very simple people, but obviously that's nothing really to complain about. The staff was very kind and gave us many ideas of how to best see the Vatican. They even helped us arrange getting to the Pope's Wednesday audience. We were so appreciative for that. The room was nice--it had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was lovely--we really enjoyed the selection of foods. We dined once in the hotel restaurant--both fish dishes that we got were superb. We didn't have much of a chance to explore the surrounding neighborhood, but it looked great too!
Superb Hotel
Upon looking for a headquarters for my visit to Rome I needed somewhere close to good transport links such as the Lepanto metro. That is when I discovered Hotel Metropolis right in the heart of the city. It has the access to good transport links , with the bonus of being near landmarks such as Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese. So not only can I explore further a field I can access the Prati disctrict a line of culture right at my doorstep!
The hotel has all the qualities you could desire with looking for a place to stay. Great amenities and modern furnishings are just one of the many things you will discover about the hotel. With a great selection of rooms catering to all needs from individuals to guests on business the hotel will guarantee that you will have the best stay possible. With a friendly and quality service you will only find the best service possible ! Hotel Metropolis is above four stars!
Comfortable And Stylish
Stayed at the Hotel Metropolis last month during a family trip to Rome. It was very comfortable and the décor was in our opinion "very Italian." Trendy, artsy--we just felt cool being there. The service was top-notch--the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good and we had dinner in the restaurant, which was great! Our bathroom was a little small, but my brother's was a better size. All of the rooms we saw were great. My parents even sprung for the suite, which had an in-room Jacuzzi in it. We crashed a few times to hang out there! lol. The location of the hotel was great--super close to the Vatican and the castle. A nice place to stay, for sure!
Not What I Expected, But Still Good!
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Metropolis in Rome after reading several favorable reviews of it. Even though we usually go for bigger hotels, we decided to give it a try. We were expecting to be in an area that was a little more "happening," but we were still pleased. There were plenty of places to eat nearby--and we did try the hotel restaurant which was good. The room itself was a decent size and the bathroom was very modern. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the occasions that we did, we found them to be pleasant and quite tolerant of our lack of Italian skills. The hotel's decor was very modern--not really our taste, but it's just decor and it was something different. No complaints about the hotel itself--it was a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed being within walking distance to St. Peter's. We didn't go inside Castel Sant Angelo, but it was nice being able to walk by it so often due to the hotel's proximity--it really is beautiful to look at! The hotel breakfast, I should add, was very nice--a great spread of breakfast pastries, which were always fresh and delicious.
