I am so glad I found this company. They are extremely helpful and competitively priced. I ordered several pots of Pebeo Vitrail Glass paints and a few Cerne outliner relief tubes. They didn't have all the items I ordered in stock, but were able to very kindly contact me and we arranged some substitutions, which worked out great. I was so excited opening my box of paints. I've been working on glass painting every evening since, thanks to the many helpful and inspiring videos available online. I would certainly recommend this company and I will be using them again. I love this shop. My orders are dispatched quickly and the staff are really helpful I live hundreds of miles away and do everything on line so the service is really important for me and its excellent. Great range of products too.

I called up in need of an item asap and the manager went out of his way to make sure the item arrived as quickly as possible (which was the next day - a Saturday)

My card details didn't go through at first so he called me back immediately to fix the issue and then ran the item over to the postman who had just left.

Studio Arts is the foremost art supply shop in Lancaster. It’s crammed with all kinds of painting, modelling, crafting, writing equipment. They sell those little War Hammer models you can paint too. Their website is easy to use and they deliver quickly. I’ve been getting my art supplies from Studio Arts for over ten years and as a professional illustrator I have have occasionally required specific materials which they have either already had in stock or they were able to quickly source for me. The staff are friendly and helpful too and a cornerstone of Lancaster’s independent retailers.

Wonderful selection of soft pastels but woefully inadequate packaging - wrapped in bubblewrap with another layer of bubblewrap around the lot and then a cardboard box for posting. I would have thought with the consistency of soft pastels that putting them in a small pastel box that holds 3 or 4 with a small piece of plastic foam covering them was the norm. Apparently not. Very disappointed. Just as well I chose Daler Rowney, because Sennelier would have disintegrated being that much softer.

My order was shipped quickly and there were follow up emails. One of my paints was out of stock so they very kindly supplied a more expensive artist grade paint at no extra cost. A great service and I will not hesitate to shop there again and will recommend them to my fellow artists.
