I booked these guys a couple of months before moving from Hastings to Mallorca what a huge mistake and stress has it been they are unreachable and a day before I was meant to have a collection they promised to call me to confirm all my stuff alarm bells went when they didn’t even ask for my contact details in Spain and no was picking up the phone. I still haven’t heard from them and they are meant to be coming today.. I’ve booked another company. Do not use and do not get mistaken for Simpsons international thank god I’ve only lost my deposit and not the full amount they were trying to get off me. 

All was well, from packing to loading the container till it arrived from UK to India. Container arrived at Mumbai port on 14th December 2018; it is still there on 4th February 2019. As Simpsons would not provide the Bill Of Lading, the container is not being released by the shipping company. Simpsons has promised in writing that they will pay the demurage for not taking the delivery, but will they? I don’t know the condition of my belongings and I have had to manage without my personal belongings for all these weeks. I made the full payment in advance. My concern is that I will loose my personal possessions/belongings as well as the payment i made to Simpsons for the international removal service. My husband and I were hoping for a peaceful time in our retirement. Unfortunately I am still living the nightmare.

They are the worse removal company in the world.

They failed to collect a large proportion of my items from Spain having subcontracted out the job. The items were left on the steps to my house to be stolen.I in the end had to organise some men to collect them as they were incapable of sorting out another removal truck to help me. I sorted it from the UK !. They were very difficult about the delivery and kept changing the date. Telling my furniture was still in Spain. The rudest logistics woman I have even spoken to literally said" tough". I had many broken and badly packed items i.e My expensive French basin. Not bubble wrapped just a bit of tape. They are claiming I did not pay for the insurance when I specifcally did. Simpsons don't return my calls and basically don't care about their customers. NEVER EVER USE THEM. I am in shock at how dreadful they are. The story of hell is far longer but I think I have made my point. I felt very Badly treated.

Really awful experience. We moved on a foul day weather wise and the removal crew crated a huge mess for us to clean up when they departed. They were shockingly bad at moving our things, lots of broken items, damaged walls and clothes soiled.

We moved about 45 miles in distance but we had some delays in the monies being exchanged in the chain. Despite my wife and I pushing banks and solicitors there was a 2 hour delay completing beyond the expected 1pm completion.

The removal crew made me call their depot manager and after a heated chat I was forced to pay £500 extra under threat of then taking our things away to go into storage. It does say this in the small print but there was absolutely no discretion or common sense involved.

When unloading they broke a new neighbors fence and I'm told are disputing it. The crew complained about overtime and how little they'd see of the £500 fee strong armed out of me and generally moaned about everything going. We had to abandon our hopes of unloading the proper rooms and ended up dumping everything in the garage. The only way to get them away quickly was to help unload ourselves.

I complained several times by email and phone calls and disputed the charge but they're largely unresponsive and to be frank do not care.

I would never use this firm again and I hope anyone thinking of using them steers clear. They made this move a sheer nightmare and I've never been on the end of such diabolical treatment.

This has got to be the worst ever shipping company in history. We moved from the UK to Cyprus in Oct 2017 & we stupidly decided to book with Simpsons to ship our stuff to Cyprus, BIG MISTAKE. As when we spoke to a guy in the office for a quote, he sent someone round who took photos of our property & then came back to us within 2 days with what we thought at the time was a very cheap quote & cheaper than the other shipping companies. Now he told us that based on the volume of our property, we would only require a shared container, not a sole container as we don't have enough volume for a sole container, so we stupidly agreed as he explained it was half the cost & we'd save money as we would be sharing the container with another person who was also having goods shipped to Cyprus & it would only take maximum 4-6 weeks tops for our property to arrive to Limassol. We thought ok no problem, but he then took an extra £336 out of my bank account as he claimed that when simpsons gave us a price it was based on 556cubic feet in volume & when they got our goods back to their warehouse and apparently measured the cubic feet again, we were over the agreed 556cuft that we had already paid for and agreed in writing , but no he was adamant that the extra £336 had to be paid or else Simpsons would not ship our goods at all.  I didn't agree to them taking the extra money they just took it and fed us a bs story that we had to pay and regardless that we already paid them the final bill in the 1st place , they threatened not to ship our goods if we didn't pay the extra money. Now amongst our property was our deceased son's belongings aswell which they didn't care about as once they had taken our money that was that. We left the UK in Oct 2017, it's now Dec 2017 & they still haven't shipped our stuff at all, if anything they kept making pathetic excuses that they were waiting for another consignment to load onto the shared container. We emailed them, & phoned them on numerous occasions explaining that it was a matter of urgency that our stuff is shipped immediately as it's been longer than the 6 weeks as promised & they have our late son's belongings & they couldn't care less about us or our late son as they saw fit to physically take his property as they were refusing to ship it to Cyprus for no reason whatsoever & they were keeping it against our will. On top of that we've now had to fork out an extra £2700 to an actual shipping company to collect our property from Simpsons warehouse & ship it to Cyprus, something you'd think it was Simpsons job to do , after all that is what they were paid to do & failed miserably. Also we received an email from Simpsons explaining that they would be refunding money back into our bank account as they did not ship the stuff at all eventually. But they have failed to refund us the money they took from us, as we are constantly emailing them on a regular basis quite rightly asking where our refund was , but they don't reply to any of our emails.   STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, SIMPSONS ARE THE WORST SHIPPING COMPANY EVER  The Simpsons who live in Springfield are far more trustworthy than these people.

I placed my trust in this company. I can’t but disagree and strongly advise not to use Simpson’s at all cost!

A agent came and assessed my house. It was fairly simple and a fee was agreed and my items would be loaded in Colchester, UK and delivered to one address in Cape Town, South Africa. My items as described by the receiving agent were first on the container and last off. Impossible to get stolen or remove during shipment...

The container was full, my 2 box’s each 250sqft were full! When I received my shipment it was missing a three seater sofa, washing machine, fridge and parts of my double bed! My wife is devastated as we now have no clue what else is missing as there was a box with no number on that appeared. On the day every item had numbers and seemed to have been thoroughly gone through! When the items arrived I was missing large items almost impossible to lose! I sent a set of sofas, one arrived! Simpson’s have ruined our move. Cost me far more than the pay out. I paid for 500cubic ft to ship and they never shipped a great deal of it.

I took out insurance and received a small payout. I emailed Simpson’s saying due to not actually completing or ever sending the agreed amount of cubic feet I deserve some compensation. The reply was simply you are only entitled to insurance claim. I believe this company is horrific, DO NOT use at ALL Costs! Terrible service, terrible after service and all round bad experience! 0 stars out of 5.

We were unfortunate enough to use simpsons to move from Derbyshire to Goa India. From the very beginning they made false promises of quick service , though we found out later they had just been telling people there were delays. The professional packing we paid extra for was horrendous , the men packed like children , china items with garden tools , It took months to arrive then major extra costs to get through custom.  Missing items list was around 20 items missing , simpsons said misplaced , either way we never got them , big stuff like chest of draws, Broken items due to pathetic packing massive , Insurance claim £3800. Got paid £2300. Simpsons refused all along to provide me with directors/owners email. Never use regardless of price , they allow idiots to pack them , We honestly feel we paid £2700, for months of stress and not a single word from simpsons , in fact at one point there so called manager emailed and said it was all our fault because we allowed it to happen .

Although they talk about excellence and caring about their valued customers, the truth is, that when your money enters their bank account you become just another number! They 'lost' the main section of an antique wardrobe of ours, delivered a broken table and a smashed up antique writing bureau! After phoning them on various occasions and writing ignored emails I decided to write a letter to their owner which actually forced a response from his assistant manager! BUT... to no avail... no explanation, a simple apology which means nothing... would never use this company again nor would I ever in my lifetime promote them to anyone... final conclusion ...SAD - they take your money and run!!

I will strongly recommend not to use the service of Simpson Removals. My household was treated with not respect or regard to avoid damages when moving it from the UK to Copenhagen in July 2017. The pre-move service was professional and reassuring, but the execution was absolutely rouge. I have made a number of international moved over the years but this one was by far the worst. Avoid Simpson removals at all costs.

Simpson were hired to move our house from London to Hamburg back in November 2016.

Everything went smooth with the quote and pick up of the furniture and boxes ( Our BOCONCEPT table was damaged during the move) but we didn't have a full insurance so we didnt get any money for this. But this is nothing compare to the fact that they stole our money!!!!

We paid by mistake 2 times to them and Since DEC 2016 we are asking them to pay back the double amount and it is now AUGUST 2017 - 7 month later - and they still FORGET/CANT BE AKSED to do so.

They screen my calls, they keep emailing back when I contact them that it will be resolved but nothing happens.
