The Kodak Dc215 Battery Tray Latch Will Break Caus
The Kodak DC215 battery tray latch will break causing you to tape the tray in if you drop it. Hey! Last I knew your aren't supposed to drop sensitive stuff like digital cameras. Replacement is easy if you can read and have a small Phillips head screwdriver and if you have a free 45 minutes. The price of this camera outweighs all this. I like it so much that I'm buying these things as fast as I can find them so I can put them into the hands of others. Thanks Kodak...........

The Kodak Dc215 Digital Camera Is Old And Cheap No
The Kodak DC215 digital camera is old and cheap now, but it's still a pain with the battery clip broken, and you have to tape it closed. Even though it is easy to use and takes nice pictures, it eats batteries!

Kodak Will Not Stand Behind Their Products. They S
Kodak will not stand behind their products. they say they will when you go to buy it or read the review comments or their web site.
The real point is that I have a Kodak DC215 digital camera with a broken latch and battery tray just like all the others that have bought this camera. I called, email, complained with no evail. They say i must send it to them and pay in advance for any repairs even when it broke under their so called warranty period. I will never buy a camera from this Japan based company ever again.

Bought My Kodak Dc215 2 Years Ago As A First Digit
Bought my Kodak DC215 2 years ago as a first digital camera and have taken some good quality snaps.
I found the short battery life annoying so purchased some NiMh cells which sorted this problem and I also purchased a 128 MB flash card from Amazon, which gave me an incredible ammont of storage to play with.
Sadly this excellent little camera took an 18 inch fall off my car passenger seat last week breaking the internal locking mechanism on the battery tray so it no longer functions. As a result I am replacing it with a Samsung Digimax 230 which looks to have more functions but I would not hesitate to recommend the DC215 either new (if you can still find one) or second hand.

I Bought The Kodak Dc215 Digital Camera At A Knock
I bought the Kodak DC215 digital camera at a knock-down price of £70 from a retailer who seemed to have forgotten about it. I got nothing but the camera. A serial interface cost less than £7. OK, so the DC215 is a bit outmoded. I occasionally use a Fuji Finepix 2400Zoom at work, but that has far too many features for personal use. I like the look and feel of the DC215. I like the fact that the Manual is available on the Web. Above all, I like its ease of use. I could go on ... the LED screen is reassuringly large and easy to read. The range of customisation options is impressive. The photos come out in convincing colour, if a bit blurry.
But, what the heck, the DC215 is real value for money. It parks pics on the computer effortlessly (I can't say that for the Fuji!). Get longlife batteries, use a DC adapter when you download and in the DC215 you have a camera which you will cherish. I have inserted this review just to reassure those who have written nice things about the DC215 in the past that there still are some who share their enthusiasm.

I Bought The Dc215 Zoom Digital Camera By Kodak Be
I bought the DC215 zoom digital camera by Kodak because i got a good deal on it. (it was a return) I took it home and started taking pictures.
I pretty much liked everything about the camera. The wait time isn't too long between pictures and for the price the pictures are fairly good.
The one major plus this camera has is it's optical zoom, it makes up for only having one megapixel.
The only thing that is missing is more features like motion shots, and the abiltiy to make short movies.

[+] I Bought This Kodak Digital Camera, A Fac

i bought this kodak digital camera, a factory refurbished one for CAN$205 or about US$128 which is really a good deal. the resolution is pretty good for its price (its a 1 meg pixel camera), came with 4 mb CF card, which can store up to 55 pictures in the lowest resolution and quality, and its really easy to use.

the camera's battery life is too short (i think) because a new set of battery lasted only for about 50-75 shots. The lens cover is a cap that you put over the lens, not a built in one. there was no AC adapter included, which could have been useful since u need the power on to synchronize the digital camera with your PC. The unit was heavier than a regular 35mm camera, might be because of the 4 AA batteries that power it.

I Got An Kodak Dc215 And Want To Know How To Set I
I got an KoDAK DC215 and want to know how to set it as webcam...
Could anyone pls tell me how? to [email protected]
thnx!
Same here... if you know how to activate this to a webcam.
It might be possible to use it as webcam iv you have a video card, but you would have to change the firmware a little so that it puts the output on video out if you press the macro button....

I Inherited This Camera Off The Mother Inlaw, Who
I inherited this camera off the mother inlaw, who never used it because of the woeful battery life, around 20-25 minutes. I have modified this unit to use a 4 amp hours lead acid battery, it lasts for weeks on one charge, the battery is a Yuasa NP4-6. 6 Volt, originally from a Lantern.
