I Bought This Unit After Having Owned A Cheap & Na
I bought this unit after having owned a cheap & nasty dvd player (Haus - £80 2years ago) for £299 from Army & Navy. I wanted to replace my hifi and get a decent dvd player, and I really couldn't have done better for under £500. I considered the Sony but it didn't play MP3s, which is becoming more relevant. Also, non of the reviews so far have pointed out that it's a 5 dvd changer! It's quite slow changing from one to another, but extremely useful, especially if, like me, you enjoy watching dvds of tv series. I have mine loaded with Simpsons, Only fools and horses and Cold Feet and use the others for cds and mp3s.
It's recently been replaced with the sc-ht75 which gives you more power output.

It has 400 RMS watt which is very powerful. Overall the sound quality is superb for all type of optical disk e.g. DVD, VCD, CD, Mp3CD. Cool!

I Thought The Panasonic Scht70 Home Cinema Amp/rec
I thought the Panasonic scht70 home cinema amp/receiver was a great buy. To me it delivers superb picture quality and the size of the speakers was perfect compared to my old system. Overall I think think that the scht70 delivered great sound, was easy enough to set up and my mates were amazed. Now they've all got one!!

Combined Dvd Player, 5+1 Channel Amplifier, Radio
Combined DVD player, 5+1 channel amplifier, radio tuner, 5 speakers plus sub-woofer. SCHT70 (revised version of 80) more logical controls, RDS tuner, plays CD-RW disks, better remote control.
you must be getting paid by Panasonic, This system is very bad, I rate it below a zero in quality of sound.
