Magician By Raymond E Feist Is Pure And Intimidati

Magician by Raymond E Feist is pure and intimidating, taking fantasy to another level altogether, the massive scope and characters that are far too amazing to be true make it the best fictional book I've ever read. Ever.

Like all his books its a brilliant page turner. The story is easy to get into very quick to set out plots and characters and if this is your first Fiest book, lucky you. Sets up the whole series which once discovered is hard to put down.

What Can I Say? Feist Magician Is Possibly The Boo

What can I say? Feist Magician is possibly the book that sparked off my love for fantasy books. Before reading this book I was a pure crime and mystery reader, however Raymond E. Feist has me well and truly converted. With such amazing plot build up and character development Feist has done something that neither Tolkien nor Stephen King could do: create a book that I could not put down! His mind-blowing imagination, unheard of commitment and remarkable skill combine together to create a book that you will want to read again and again. A pleasure to read. (If you like "Magician" check out Feist's other books in this series ("Silverthorn" and "A Darkness at Sethanon"))

Raymond E. Feist Magician - This Is The Best Fanta

Raymond E. Feist Magician - This is the best fantasy book I've read so far!

I even got my mate to read it (he's not read a book in 6 years...), and he thouroughly enjoyed it!

Great character building, and some excellent twists in the plot.

Magician Is The First Book From Raymond E Feist An

Magician is the first book from Raymond E Feist and in my opinion one of the very best books I have ever read.

The plot starts modestly and charts the rise to power of several characters over many years. There is something for every fantasy lover. Magic, heroism, love and loss, intrigue, elves, dwarves and more.

The characters are well written and the settings are vivid and believable. This book is a must for any fantasy reader.

The review is rubbish, but the book is great. Things you actually might want to know are:

1)The book moves at a fast pace, involving a whole host of fantastic concepts, such as magic, elves and gods.

2)The book is made more realistic through more mundane on human ideas, such as politics (albeit complex ones), war and crime.

3)Although it is called the first in a trilogy it is more a seperate book. The other two are, however, good.

Extropunk.

Comments like this are a pathetic, emotionally driven outpouring of loneliness and lack of thorough reading within the given genre.

Magician is a good book, not great. It is slow without the rich tapestry of characters and environment that defines a Tolkien novel.

It is named 'Magician' for all the wrong reasons. The book is about a group of people in a struggle for survival, survival of a planet and way of life and is set in a feudal England-style environment. Not particularly imaginative...oh yes and lets throw in a few elves to make it sound more like a fantasy novel...then some magic and a rift that opens up a planet much like China or Japan.

Not really a classic but well written.

I like the book and have just finished SilverThorn the second in the trilogy.

A better book but again the world created here is nothing sprecial.

The next in the series does have promise due to the set ups in the first two so I will let you all know how it goes.

Magician is the best fantasy book I have ever read and I hope to find Silverthorn (the sequel to Magician) just as pleasing to read.
