Unbelievable Performance At A Ludicrously Low Pric
Unbelievable performance at a ludicrously low price! Celestion F20
Currently on sale via HyperFi (or £20 less via Eb*y) for £99. If they actually have some of these units left I would not hesitate to get online and pick yours up today..!
I have had many, many pairs of speakers in my life, most were compromises between the ones that I wanted and the ones I could afford. These F20's present the first occasion I think in my entire life, where I did not have to settle for one, or the other.I also own the KEF Cresta 3's which sound astounding too, but they have very large imaging with little in the bass department. The Celestions are very similar to the KEF's in many ways (they are assembled in the same factory). Originally retailing for £200, they are the maple (light wood) colour which must be why they are so cheap. I admit, they are an acquired taste but they look fine matched to some quality laminate flooring. There are 2 speaker terminals, that have the usual speaker wire binding posts, with centre plugs ; removable to insert banana plugs.
The main features are:
1. Bi-wirable
2. 100 Watts power handling
3. Magnetically shielded, ideal for Home Cinema
4. Titanium dome tweeters, brilliant treble clarity
5. 2 Way Bass reflex type
6. Rear bass ported
The soundstage on these units is astounding...they sound like cabinets easily twice the size. The sound far exceeds their small stature. The advertising says "Quality products do not have to cost the earth, the F series offers discerning quality without the over-inflated price". I have to agree with that statement, I am extremely impressed and pleased with the build quality, electronics and performance. The cabinets are sturdy, well assembled kit with no rattles or buzz.
I would recommend these to anybody who needs 2 front speakers for a Hi-Fi or home cinema setup, you can't really go wrong with a pair of these fantastic, bargain-tastic speaker cabinets...Don't delay; get yours today!

I Have Had My Celestion F20 Speakers Since Their I
I have had my Celestion F20 speakers since their introduction to the UK. I was given a choice of stuff to listen to in Richer Sounds, Kingston. I was sold on them, even though they were not the most expensive kit I tried (nor were they the cheapest). Look good, sound great, originally with my Marantz system, now the "fronts" of my Cambridge cinema sound system. Have always thought about changing them to MS to go with the rest of the system, but no point. They are excellent!

Excellent Entry Level Speaker. As Part Of My Secon
Excellent entry level speaker. as part of my secondary system in the cellar with marantz amp and cd player (cd6000 & pm30 se) they sound well matched. place them close to a rear wall and well away from side walls with plenty of toe-in they sound punchy and go quite low in the bass. set up like this narrows the sound stage a bit with a smallish sweet spot but is worth it for just one or two listeners.

I Have Recently Been Given A Fairly New Pair Of Ce
I have recently been given a fairly new pair of celestion F20 speakers and am very impressed about the quality at both high and low volumes, they both accompany my 3.1 surround system to create a loveley 5.1 system. They combine with the sub to reproduce almost all audible frequences right from the top to the bottom I think that they are great and the dvd final fantasy sounded ace

My Celestion F20 Stero Speakers Handled Bass With
My Celestion F20 stero speakers handled bass with ease. Good for all types of music. They can show signs of stress when loud but this isn't a big problem. I'm not too sure about the quality, they look very nice and feel very solid but one of the speakers developed a very small vibration that can only be heard at loud volumes with some frequencies. Make sure you try the Eltax Liberty 5+ before buying. They're £50 cheaper and they're pretty similar to the F20s in sound and quality.
You can still find a limited number of F10's at Ultimate Electroincs for about $80.00US. (very good buy)
I can not find a Celestion home speaker Dealer. Is there any in the USA ??? I want to purchase F-10's or F-20's. HELP!!
