This Is A Follow Up To The Review I Did Last Year.

This is a follow up to the review I did last year. I had a lot of trouble removing MidAddle over the last week and I was successful only due to Freedom and Powerdesk. In fact, without Freedom Security Suite by Zero Knowledge, I would not even have known my laptop was infected by MidAddle and two other Trojans. Thank you Freedom and Powerdesk.

Zero-knowledge Freedom 3.2 - Overall A Very Good V

Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 - Overall a very good value for the money. Did I mention I receive it for free. I like this program better than Norton due to Norton's need for a lot of system resources. I believe this program is as good as Norton at finding viruses, and also finds more spyware than my spysweeper program (which is a top rated program). Freedom also, has many other features like an excellent firewall that protects from in and out traffic. Overall I am very happy with this program and I would probably consider purchasing it if I didn't get it for free.

I Own A Computer Shop Where Telus Is A Major Isp.

I own a computer shop where Telus is a major ISP. Freedom is supplied free to their ADSL customers. I'd like to say you get what you pay for, but you don't ... the free antivirus programs out there work much better than Freedom. As soon as a computer comes into our shop with Freedom installed, we scan for a virus ... and normally find one. This doesn't count the problems with their firewall.

Zero-Knowledge describes this company very well.

Please DON'T install this. Better to have nothing for anti-virus because then you won't have this false sense of security.

Well, time to go uninstall Freedom and put some Norton on some computers (yes, that's literally what I'm going to do right now).

So far this Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 antivirus program is relatively inexpensive compared to my three Nortons on three computers. Major problems so far are fairly slow loading, Zonealarm incompatabily. I will keep on using it for a while.

Free AVG a good choice for a single computer. (on my laptop)

I run into this program at least twice a week causing customers to be unable to browse. Among firewalls it is 2nd only to ZoneAlarm at causing problems.

If you want your internet connection to work, do not install this product.

Having continuing failure at trying to remove zero-knowlege freedom- Whatever you do don't install or even download. The standard install/uninstall doesn't work. Doing a search and delete files doesn't work. I even went to the freedom website another user pointed out and it doesn't work because it gives an error message that says it can't remove the program until it it turned off - the problem is that zero-knowledge freedom NEVER TURNS OFF! Warning Warning, someone please point to a real and ethical place where a real uninstall can happen...pleaseeeee

I had the same problem when trying to remove Freedom. I found the following site:

Zero-Knowledge Freedom did not completely uninstall. How can I remove it?

juanita4

I found it impossible to remove through "Add and remove programs'. It states that i must close it even though I am not using it. I purchased Norton anti-virus and Firewall (Systems Works 2003). This 'Freedom' software came on my son's new machine and I want it off.

Zero-Knowledge Freedom 3.2 is very easy to use. Cheaper than its competitors. So inexpensive. The best thing is is that it offers more protection than Norton or McAfee. This really is a great product.

I Have Helped Several People With New Computers Th

I have helped several people with new computers that this software comes preinstalled on. It works fine for a few days, even weeks, then suddenly they can't browse on the internet. Every time I've uninstalled the firewall/virus software it fixes the problem. Firewall software is supposed to protect your computer from the internet, not protect the internet from you.
