I am interested to read previous comments about the picture quality on the Panasonic TX32pb50 television. I have had mine for 18 months and have been very dispointed with the image - particularly when a consistant colour is displayed ie grass whilst watching a football match. I get a darker band which extends for around 3 inches on extreme left of screen and a further dark band about 2/3's across the screen which spreads over about 8 inches. The set has been with Panasonic for 10 weeks now and they acnowledge the existance of the shading but say it is "within specification" - I am exploring with trading standards as I write this article! If anyone else has this problem please let me know.
The Picture Size On The Panasonic Tx32pb50 Is Bigg
The picture size on the Panasonic TX32pb50 is bigger than tube thus you don't see the edges of the tv program your watching, tv lasted 11 months before it went down with a fault.

I always bought Sony when they were the "Rolls Royce" of TVs. My last Sony developed three separate faults in as many years, so I decided to try Panasonic. The first one had a bad curve down the left side of the picture so the dealer swapped it immediately, it's replacement occasionally won't switch on from standby unless I turn the power off and on. The picture puts a bright white edge around peoples faces etc. and small white details are disproportionately bright, giving the picture a totally unrealistic appearance. Oh yes, and the remote controller developed a fault wher it would only work if it was given a thump, that has now been replaced. £1,400 wasted

I Have Just Bought This Television Form Curry's As
I have just bought this television form Curry's as a replacement for a faulty Sharp 32" widescreen and I paid £716 for it. I have no complaints about it yet, the picture is good especially with DVD and the sound is great especially with the surround sound rear speakers.
Don't Bother With The Panasonic Tx32pb50 Tv.. Pana
Don't bother with the Panasonic tx32pb50 TV.. Panasonic have always been up there but this and the pg50 are way below usual standards..
I ve had mine for about a year no problems at all so far, good picture with DDM switched on (still good switched off) and the sound is very pleasant to listen to overall I’m happy with my set
I purchase this television from curry's. The salesman said the picture quality was excellent and I would not have any complaints has it was 1200 pound, but it is on a offer for 899. What a joke. six days later I brought it back. In the end they agreed the picture quality was not good. I got my money back. Why are they pushing people to buy this product I don't know. BEWARE THIs T.V IS TOTAL RUBBISH.
I an happy to hear you have a good example of this TV. I stand by what I said about the panasonic ones I purchased.
Have they have changed tube type? mine had big problems!
I have had this TV for 3 Weeks so far and Could not disagree more with the reviews I have read so far. I have had none of the problems mentioned in the reviews so far, but it is early days yet and hope I am not to quick in adding my comment. I think the remote is! well thought out, the on screen control displays are easy to follow. Compared with certain other manafacturers what I got for my money i.e. Features was Good value for money.
I have had 2 of these sets; unfortunately both of these exhibited the same faults: 2 vertical lines about 10cm from the ends and also fine horizontal lines across the whole screen. Needless to say, both sets were returned to the retailer!
