This Phone Releases You From The Smaller Service A
This phone releases you from the smaller service area that the new GSM networks are starting with, and allows you to keep informed and connected on the Next Generation neworks. This phone has been great to me and is the only one I will carry.

This Phone Was A Huge Disappointment. Software Co
This phone was a huge disappointment. Software corrupts often - my address book (fewer than 100 names) has been blown away 4 times in 6 months. Already had to do warranty exchange once. AT&T tech support doesn't know what's wrong with it, but will offer a second warranty exchange; Siemens is hard-nosed and arrogant about troubleshooting problems of basic features; their only offer is to install new software (1 week wait with no replacement phone). I know 3 other people in Chicago who have this phone and all are disappointed with it.
Bought the Siemens brand, but never will again. Am buying another phone 6 months in to my contract.

I Have Owned This Phone For 7 Months With No Real
I have owned this phone for 7 months with no real complaints. It has a good style to it and the reception is clear. In all of San Diego there is only one dead spot that i know of. The menu is easy to use and the games are fun and challenging. The battery life is outstanding the best i ever had, and i have owned 6 phones in the last 2 years. The tdma never works like it is designed to, but i don't need it here in San Diego. On the gsm side it never fails me. Other than that it is a good phone that i am happy with. I have dropped this phone from normal heights and it did not break. A few scratches maybe.

I Purchased A Siemens S-46 So That I Could Have Th
I purchased a siemens s-46 so that i could have the capabilty to have digital and gsm service with the ability to make international calls. It is the only phone out there that supposedly does the things I need it to do. The first s-46 I bought wouldn't let me scroll through my address book without having a "Drive Error!". I took it back and AT &T exchanged it because it was within 30 days. It actually didn't work one day after buying it. They swapped it out with another s-46 only to have this one shut off with no warning. I am going to take this one back(3rd visit in as many weeks) asap and re-evaluate what i need in a phone. I could vent more but here are the main things that bug me besides the problems previously stated. Ringer Volumes not loud enough, voice level not loud enough, voicemail notification cryptic, headset is awkward (adds another inch to the length of the unit)etc... All in all I find this phone to be very antiquated and unrealiable. I would not buy this phone. In my opinion I don't think it was tested enough before they put it on the marked.

I Have Had A Half Dozen Phones Of Various Brands T
I have had a half dozen phones of various brands through the years. Hands down this is the worst phone I have ever had. In fact I am on my third replacement (ATT replaced w/ new ones for free), and this one's acting up. Specifically, the phone will power off without warning, a "Known bug" according to tech support. Sound quality also poor -- you just can't turn the volume up high enough. Although feature rich, using those features is a huge pain. Menus are ridiculous. You simply have to go through too many menu clicks to do simple tasks. To turn ring volume down, for example, you need to hit 1. MENU then page down to 2. AUDIO 3. RINGER SETTING 4. SELECT 5. select ON/OFF/BEEP and hit hang up button twice to return to the main menu. 10 clicks to turn volume off? Are you kidding me? VM notification also poor (stays on if you have any vm saved). TDMA switch is tough to come by. Call volume not loud enough. Headset that comes with it pick up the sound of people talking in the third row of my SUV "Hey, who's that?" your callers will say; ridiculous sensitivity, although since it fell apart I threw it out anyay. Bought in August, ditching it this month. Too bad, I paid a lot for it. Pick another phone.
