3 Months On And Still Waiting

Ordered in July a CD and they took the money out of my account next day. Contacted the company in August and told delayed due to company changes. Received email in September apologising for the delay and will be sent soon. Now end October and still no CD. When contact get usual holding emails. Absolute rubbishy, avoid.

Avoid Wow Site - Paid Money But Did Not Receive Dvd

Ordered a DVD and paid for it in June did not receive it. Sent repeated emails with no response until today (23Rd October) - see below. Apparently they do not care that I have paid money for nothing and they are not doing anything about it.

This is the email I got:

As of August 1st 2015 WOWHD is under new ownership. We have no control over any orders placed prior to us acquiring WOWHD. If you have yet to receive merchandise that was ordered and paid for prior to August 1st 2015 please contact your financial institution and file a claim. For any issues regarding orders placed on or after that date please contact our customer service department at [email protected] .

They take your money - don't send your order, despite still advertising the product ordered then make you change passwords denying you access to any outstanding order details surely this is illegal.

No Response - Where Is My Cd/money!

Ordered and prepaid back in May, Still have not received CD and my history on my account with and all previous transactions has been deleted. No response on via countless emails. AVOID!!!!

The fact I'm even bothering to do this says it all. Never mind the fact that I still haven't received my CD, it's like pulling teeth just to get an answer to my e-mails. Safe to say I won't be using this company again.

Poor Service, Even Poorer Communication

Up until recently I have used Wow-HD (formally CD-Wow) a lot over the years. But now I do not think I will use them again. I ordered up 4 CDs in May in time for birthdays, and Father's Day. Two of the items were pre-order (both being released in early June), and I expected them to be shipped soon after release. A week after release and they were on 'Back Order'.

I contacted Wow, and finally I got a response that their supplier did not have stock, so I asked for them to cancel the order for the remaining 3 CDs. Since I sent the cancellation order, they then dispatched one of the CDs, and was told that when it arrived that I would need to request a returns form. A week later the CD arrived, and I have requested a returns form, but still no form.

Communication seems to be only by email, and they take about 3 days at least to respond. I would expect a quicker turn around. What is so annoying is that they are quick to take your money, take ages to deliver a CD (if at all), and even longer to respond to emails.

The deals maybe good, but the turn around is too long. Think hard before using them.

Still Waiting After Two Months

Ordered 2 DVDs 20th April 2015 - 'House Of Cards' Seasons 1&2 so nothing obscure. Both were listed as being 'In Stock' at the time. Payment was taken from my credit card immediately but unfortunately the current status is now listed as 'Backorder' -whatever that means and, 2 months on, they still haven't arrived. Lured in by a cheapish price. Should have known better and stuck to Amazon. Never again!!

Absolutely Awful

What an awful company - happy to take your money but don't deliver what you pay for. You get no response to your emails to customer service and there's no phone number to call - avoid this company at all costs!
