“Beware of Others Setting Up Littlewoods Ac In Your Name”

I generally detest junk mail and spam mail but it is always wise to check details if you have been assigned a Littlewoods Catalogue Account that you have not personally set up. I discovered that an account had been set up in my name by a member of my family. I am never the first to the post in the morning and so until I started to receive calls about non payments and linked to black marks on my Credit Reference File through my A/C with Equifax I was unaware of the position that a family member had set up an account. Clearly he knew all of my details and he tells me that on the application, because of his short work history he was asked to include the name of a parent. He tells me that since then he has had the account transferred to his name but when there are problems at his end, it seems I am the fall guy. I have had my Credit Reference File marked with late payments and default payments that were/are in effect not mine. So isn't it about time that the likes of Littlewoods took more care when they set up customer accounts and that they verify appropriately whom they are enlisting. Now because of Littlewoods laxity I have to do battle to get my credit reference corrected and I have today received a letter from them telling me of "my" arrears and of a £12 addition to my account balance. So if you know someone with a catalogue from Littlewoods make sure Littlewoods don't start to adversely affect your credit rating as a result of their negligent account set up procedures. More secure systems please Littlewoods

“the worst online shopping”

i bought a laptop from littlewoods and its not working cause it wont charge and when call littlewoods to report we were told to contact samsung cause it was a samsung laptop. so we called them and they said to provide a proof of purchase and we asked littlewoods to send a purchase reciept which they did send to me and i pass the reciept to samsung and today i recieved a email from samsung that the reciept we send to them is not good enough so we called littlewoods again and we were told to contact samsung again whats going on so please people never shop with littlewoods

“where are my rewards”

have been a customer for about 5 years everything was ok until I became a platinum customer then my "10% rewards" just disappeared when I queried this I was told it was because I got things which were on sale. the trouble with this is I have had lots of large items which were on sale and still got my rewards until I became a platinum customer. I have looked everywhere to find where it says you don't get rewards for sale items and I can't find it anywhere. I feel cheated!!!!

“Customer Services / Wrong Descriptions”

Order a tablet off littlewoods the description was as follows "The S6000 is packed with a quad core processor, a vibrant IPS display and fast 3G connectivity for always on connectivity." I received the tablet and the first thing I notice was it has no WWAN which is whats need to connect to 3g. I rang and emailed to explained to them that the description was wrong and the model they sent me out I could buy €40 cheap from lenovo. I suggested the either. 1.take back the item and send out one with WWAN. 2.Refund the difference. Since then I have rang and email many times with query numbers but know has information(whats the point of the query number if you can't reference it.) I have to then explain everything again. I then asked for a supervisor as i was going around in circles. I was then informed a supervisor would call me back with in 6 hours. 26 hours passed so I rang again, once again no one knew about it and no record of a request for a supervisor to call. I'm still no wiser as whats going on! The customer services is a joke and its left me know choice other but to warn others of littlewoods and its customer services.

“DIABOLICAL UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!”

I have been a customer for at least 7 years now and a loyal one at that. I am now in a situation which is taking some time to rectify leaving me frustrated, unhappy and feeling like a criminal. i do not know if it is because LITTLEWOODS now have a call centre in AFRICA and i keep getting through to them, I have spent several weeks trying to make them understand what has happened on my account is genuine but they just cannot see the wood for the trees. I purchased a pair of Kicker shoes last Sept 12 which split 6 months later so the shoes were called in for inspection and Littlewoods agreed to replace the shoes, although they said they couldn't show it as an exchange but had to show it as a credit to my account, of course the shoes were paid off in 2012, i am now left with a bill for a pair of Kickers which I have already paid for as the new pair was a replacement. When i got through to I think it was Cardiff she reassured me that once the shoes had arrived that Littlewoods would make a Price correction to my account and make sure the discount code from 2012 still remained on my account meaning I owed £0 which is correct, I was also told to ignore the minimum payment of £23 on my account as this wasn't a true reflection on my account as owen nothing, only to find on my statement of July that i have been charged £12 missed payment charge on top of what they are charging me for the KICKERS, I telephone again and yes they said they can see on the system I was told not to make a minimum payment and would not incur any charges and that I only owed £5 for the Kickers. When I go online onto my account it looks to me like they have added the £30 discount code onto my account for me to pay?? get that!! I told Littlewoods to just close my account and they have emailed to say they cannot do that while I have outstanding amount of £47 to pay i am in a dilema here and as I cannot seem to communicate with them i am left not knowing where to turn other than tking legal action. i think it is a discrace how a loyal customer should be left in this situation it is diabolical and I should not have to tolerate this beahaviour. I have wasted hours and hours of my valuable time trying to resolve this issue and spent money on telephone calls to Littlewoods. If only they could understand and look up the telephone conversation I had with the lady in CArdiff who rectified my account and put the price corrections on and reassured me then everything would be back to normal. “keep away”

I ordered a number of items items from them, most were shoddy and used items like a coat with torn stitching, shoes with damage obviously they had been worn, and the electrical items either went wrong in a short time or were damaged / broke on arrival. trying to get them to repair things under guarantee was almost impossible they insisted you ring the manufacturers, they refuse to take their legal responsibility that as the seller they must put things right,customer service is appalling, when you do get an item repaired it lasts a few weeks before going wrong again.If you don't mind being ripped off fine, but personally I feel I could find better quality in charity shops, which with the quality they sell maybe thats where they buy them from.

“Worst Experience Ever DO NOT JOIN!!!”

Since day one I received nothing but clueless staff i attempted to make an order several times after passing the credit check just to get refused every time i made an order the staff didn't know why and just made up answers on the spot. the staff were rude vulgar and abusive over the phone. I contacted them via email explaining my dilemma and how they could solve it along with my contact number just to get there telephone number emailed back to me i rung it and asked whats going on to be told that id closed the account and that this was all my fault so its my problem and there not going to be Bothered to sort it out. seeing as this firm charges well over the odds for there products it was just out of ease to spread the cost on larger purchases i would have thought they'd be happy to have some custom its kind of how a business works but obviously not i ask anyone thinking of joining don't they dont deserve the custom go elsewhere little woods is offensive in every way imaginable

“Disgrace of a company!!!!”

Hate this company missed a few payments due to losing my partner tried to explain and they just do not care the customer service are an utter disgrace how Littlewoods have been going as long as they have is because people who want nice things have to be treated the way you feel like treating them!!!! You only got 1 star as there is no choice and we should be forced to have to put that!!!!

“POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE”

Like most big comapnies, when things go well everything is ok. The problems arise when things go wrong. Littlewoods are good at 'passing the book' and not sorting problems out. Every problem I have had with Littlewoods has been duplicated orders and carrier problems. I have complained numerous times about the carrier company they use, but there is never an apology or anything. Just at the moment I am having problems regarding the delivery of a Cooker, which for some reason Littlewoods duplicated the order, then failed to cancel one of the items when requested 3 times to do so. Delivered 2 cookers (who wants 2 cookers) the deliver driver refused to take one back, told us we would have to pay for collection. It has now been in my kitchen for 3 days and I have been told I have to wait until next tuesday until collection. Littlewoods are not bothered. If they keep using this carrier I will not deal with them anymore.

“WORST COMPANY EVER”

Due to personal Circumstances ( Car Crash ) i have been unable to make full payment for 1 month Explained this to there Ignorant Rude and basically Snotty Customer Services who say you either pay what we want or it will be transferred to nationwide debt recovery who are littlewoods under another name also they then add £12 Debt Chasing charge every month and £12.00 for late payments the company do not care about There customers they basically only care about getting there money as fast as possible i have paid them half the balance so there is 137.80 owing and will close this account asap they have no understanding of the word customer service understanding

“Disgraceful!!”

This is the worst company i have ever delt with! I orderd a washing machine which was delivered DAMAGED on the Monday, i called littlewoods and they said it would be another week for an exchange, i demanded that they had one delivered the same week. An exchange was organised for the Thursday, i then recieved a message to say that the collection was still taking place but not the delivery. At this point i wasn't happy with the service or the call center as they were less than helpful! They then told me that i would expect the new machine to be delivered the following Monday, i had to take a 2nd day off work to wait in for this as no time was given. YODEL were the courier company and on Monday morning after being up from 7am i recieved a note through the door to say sorry they couldn't deliver as i wasn't in! (They hadn't even tried knocking!!!)I phone Yodel straight away and they told me there was nothing they could do as they couldn't contact the driver. I then had to phone littlewoods to complain about the service. They informed me they couldn't do anything apart from re arrange delivery. In the end i cancelled my order because they told me it would be another week for delivery this would be 4 weeks since orderd! I ended up getting an upgraded machine from NEXT which cost less money and they did next day delivery. (Amazing service!!) I have not long had they money taken off the account after littlewoods charged me twice for the machine!! I have also not had any apology from littlewoods and i have ended up with a £77 phone bill where i was constantly put on hold and had to phone Littlewoods and Yodel several times a day to get this sorted! Appaling service and company!

Its a pity your customer service agents are not as helpful when you telephone them....Left on the line for 25 minutes and being charged at 0844 rates for the privilege...Then being told by an agent with a horrible scouse accent that there is nothing we can do......I have had to write in person with my complaints to your so called customer excellence department....I dont hold out much hope of a positive response and will probably have to take my case to trading standards....What littlewoods need is some competition instead of this virtual monopoly....

“GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.”

Never in my life have I met such idiots. Customer service appaling. I'm heavily pregnant took them 3 weeks to deliver a bed. Once delivered, bed was badly damaged. After 2 phone calls then finally said they would pick up and give me a refund. After week later I still have bed and no refund. Closing my account once they take the bed back. Also found same bed with someone else for half price!

I had the same problem, took them six weeks to deliver my bed when it did arrive they had forgotten to bring the mattress, also you try getting electrical repairs done under guarantee they tell you to contact the manufacturer they just won't take responsibility and many of the items you get are either damaged or pack up after a few months. best avoided.

i have been with littlewoods for over 30yrs, have always had a good relationship with them until recently, it started just before xmas, i had a customer who couldn't meet his payment, he paid what he could afford, as a result it didn't meet the minimum payment so i ended up getting a £12 charge, when the next payment was due the customer again could't pay, so i rang littlewoods

I'm wondering if anyone can help. In 2018 I paid off my entire balance on my littlewoods account. I've just logged back onto my account to see my credit limit is £0 however my balance is £441.87 What does this mean? Do they owe me?

I was given a £600 credit limit by Littlewoods and when I placed a order for two pairs of trainers totalling £169. I was told the order was being processed but when I placed an order for £21 it went straight through. What is the point of having the credit if they won't let me make high price purchases?
