It's a fun game to play. Who doesn't like the idea of making a custom car of your very own? Well recommend Snap-On Gearhead garage. However for me it's repetitive, if you've build one drag racer, you've built them all.Poor graphics, This game has been out for a while, and while it doesn't seem fair to criticize and old game for having bad graphics, it's something that has to be done.Also It doesn't run well on certain new operating systems. *Cough* vista *cough*

Snap-On Gearhead is surprisingly addictive - I spent hours and hours playing it.
Hey. I had the same problem with it crashing after a few secs in vista, but i think ive nailed it. find ghg.exe in your GearHead Garage folder, create a shortcut to it, go to properties, in the TARGET add -MustBeHere -nosound after the quotes "your install dir\Gear Head Garage\ghg.exe" and make sure the compatability is set for XP. ive just been playing for 3 hours streight.
so just to be sure, it should look like:
"your install dir\Gear Head Garage\ghg.exe" -MustBeHere -nosound
you wont have any sound, that is why it crashes.
yes pls tell me also how u got it working cos i have same problem that it keeps crashing at the start of game :(

How do you get it to run on vista my suks crash all the time I just open it and it works in 5-6 sek. and then it shut down.. how do you get it to works please send comment back telling me how to do it

A great game. Has some educational value. I really like the characters some of the work involved. Sometimes it gets a bit tedious if you forget to attach something. Also wish there were a bit more options such as decals and engine parts. It would also be nice if you could put any engine in any vehicle. but over all a very good game recommend it to anyone.

I think it would be cool if you could buy beaters from the classifieds and sell your cars in the classifieds. if there was a multiplayer where you can sell your parts to other people and have wanted classifieds. and i wish you would be able to drive them or something

Gearhead Garage for the PC is a well built game by mekada and i believe with a few additions it would be more addictive. But overall a top game to play had lots of fun with it.
