Hairdresser Used It Before Telling Me
I'd been going to a salon for a while hor high and lowlights but my hair got too light so I wanted to go darker. He did an allover colour and highlighted. I had it done again but this time I notice the service was for Fashion Colours whereas previously it was a half head of high/ lowlights. I asked what colour blonde he'd used and he told me it ws Sun In. I'd vaguely heard of it years ago but never used it, so I researched it when I got home and was horrified that you must never bleach your hair after using it!He didn't even mention that. I instantly found another salon and told her what he'd used. Now she can only do root colour not the usual highlghts. I'm devastated he used it without asking and the allover colour and Sun In were the normal price so I was massively overcharged too!

Love This. Have Been Using Since 1969. Want Sun In Gel Back
In the winter, my hair gets darker; leaving me depressed. Sun in keeps my hair looking like summer all year long; lifting my spirits. I comb it through my hair 2-3 times a week. Looks much more natural than dye. If it turns your hair reddish or brassy, may be that you need to use more? Just spray it a couple More times so that it can lighten to a shade you prefer. I wish they had not discontinued SUN IN GEL. It worked even better than the spray & gave you alot more control over the areas you wanted lightened & the shade of blonde you wanted for each strand of hair. I used the gel & the spray for a great frosted look. Of course, they stopped selling the SUN IN GEL. Hopefully they will sell GEL gain soon. I have been using the spray since 1969 & hope its available atleast for the remainder of my life..about 100 more years.
I Love This Stuff. I Have Been Asked So Many Time
I love this stuff. I have been asked so many times about my hair colour by my friends. They can't believe that I only use this product. I am naturally blond but need a little help now and again to lighten it. I am 55 plus. I learned about this product from a older women (80's) that has been using it since she was in her 20's. Her hair is lovely and looks very natural without any signs of damage. Hair stylists can't believe I use it. They think it is natural or that another stylist colour my hair. I just wished this product was available in Canada.

Been Using It For Literally Decades
I have naturally blonde hair, but it's on the darker side - dirty blonde. I have been using this to lighten my hair since I was in high school. I now have golden hair with darker and lighter highlights - it looks so natural, my hairdressers have never known I put anything on it. I use it maybe once every week or two, to lighten up the roots. Once your hair is the shade you want, which might take a few applications, then don't do the whole thing -- just the roots, to maintain. I have great hair with little/no damage. I get compliments on my hair color all the time!! Great product, but I wish they still made "super" -- it was faster!
My Hair Fell Out!!!!
I want to warn you that this made all my hair fall out. My hair is as short as a man's & am now wearing a wig! I wish I could sue them!!!! I am dead serious.

Great On Grey
Love it on my grey. Warms it up with golden hues and blends with all the various shades of grey. Looks totally natural and garners many compliment.
Original Sun In.
I used the original Sun In from the late 1970s, early 1980s. The product worked as advertised, and for a quick lightening just spray liberally in your hair, and turn your blow dryer on it, and you were ready to go in with the right shading of blond.

Around Awhile (like Me!), Still Works!
I'm in the group of "just over 60" females with medium blonde hair with just a few gray ones to mess things up (good family genes?). Wanted to make a slight change to add brightness and play up highlights vs going all the way with a new color, without spending $$$ at a salon. Sun-In was popular when I was a teen, and it actually works very well with little skill necessary. $4.50 at my local Kroger vs salon....hmmm...easy choice!
