If U Wanna Ripoff Hire From 1car1 Sydney
This is to give you a good insight to this company.
1.I hired a car for one day $39.60,they double caharged me
2.I had a e tag but it didn't beeped at the toll gate.so i informed them. when i got the toll notice i arrenged to deduct the toll charge $4.40 from my account.1car1 had not paid my toll.but they charged admin fee of $25
3.After numerous calls they refunded $ 25 insted double charged $39.60.
4.Insted refunding me the balance of $14.60 they have charged me $14.60 again.
5.1car1 owe me $ 29.20
This is how they rip you off in style.Good luck if u want to rent from 1car1 in sydney

Do Not Hire With 1car1 Worst Company Ever
IF YOU ARE SMART DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM 1CAR1, BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT YOU HAVE THE SAME ISSUES AS WE ARE HAVING NOW - THEY ARE SELF INSURED, THEREFOR DELAY AND AVOID PAYING THE OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY!!!
I recently hired a car from 1car1 in sydney and was unfortunate to have an accident...as per normal you pay your excess and think that would be the last of it! Well was I wrong!!! After 6 months we recieve a statement of claim saying that we need to pay $1800 to the defendant, we contacted 1car1 and faxed them the letter and we were advised that they would pay it. Then again another letter in the mail from a lawyer this time we have been issued a judgment notice ( this has effected our credit rating ) we then again contact 1car1 and again they advised that they will settle the issue. Then the other day, we recieve another letter from a lawyer this time wanting all our bank details so they could start taking money from our wages, we have made hundreds of phone calls to them and still nothing is being done. We have now had no choice but to hire a lawyer to act on our behalf to resolve this issue. This is costing lots of money, still today, we are waiting for 1car1 to come back to us. These people are liars and I would never ever rent a car with them. Very quick to offer you a free car, but wash there hands if anything happens to go wrong after they recieve the excess that is. The first amount was $1800 and now we have reached $3000 with all the intrest added.

The Website Is Good Because You Know Exactly What
The website is good because you know exactly what the cost is at a glance. The car had a loose fan belt from day one - they should have picked that up. Here's the bad part. If you unknowingly go through a toll 1Car 1 charges you A$25 for passing your information on to the toll company. The toll company only charges a $5 admin fee so why does 1Car charge $25. Because it's a rip-off. If 1Car paid the toll and then on charged that would be different, but all they do is tell the toll company who you are so the toll company can contact you direct ..... and for that 1Car wants $25. That's a greedy RIP-OFF.

Booked "1car1 Car Rental" Online To Have The Car D
Booked "1car1 Car Rental" online to have the car delivered to home address at 6pm. They sent an email confirming it would be delivered at 1pm. We phoned them to say 1pm not good please send at 6pm. They said they could not deliver then so I took half a day off from work for the 1pm delivery. Car didn't show so I phoned them. They confirmed car to arrive at 6pm even though they previously said they could not deliver then. I waited. Nothing turned up. I phoned the Shepherds Bush branch but no reply. I phoned head office and got an out of hours american call centre. They left a message with a manager. He called us in the morning the next day and they eventually delivered. But we missed a wedding we were supposed to go to as we could not leave the night before due to their apparent incompetence.

Had Read All The Bad Things About This Company In
Had read all the bad things about this company in fact decided not to rent from them at Heathrow due to the sudden increase in rates (christmas rates) seems they all get on the band wagon at big airports, but then decided to try a local rent at the city of Peterbough. Nice people price was very good, voiced my concerns about 1 car 1 but they seemed very helpful on return had the car inspected and signed as no damage by the return inspector, so far so good. Seems depends on the location, keep away from big airports if you can, the local stores are more prone to to bad press in the local area than at major airports, will use them next time.
My Hire Was Stolen From My House. I Reported To T
My hire was stolen from my house. I reported to the police who actually spoke to 1car1. But 1car1 refused to replace the car and will not enter a new agreement with me. I have effectively been dumped and left high and dry. What could have been a good customer service gesture has resulted in anger and frustration in trying to get a replacement car from somewhere else. Very bad and I do NOT recommend this company even though they maybe 'cheap'. I will NEVER use them again.

Good point, the van was fine and did the job. Bad points. We hired the van from the London Bridge branch and (despite originally trying to give us a van where the side door didn't work) all seemed fine until 2 weeks after we returned the van a letter arrived explaining that they had charged a congestion charge fine plus £47 worth of admin for the Monday we had returned the van. Quite apart from the fact that you would assume that a van hire branch within the congestion zone would have prepaid for its vans, you would have at least expected them to tell you that they hadn't. We also had the van on the Friday yet we did not get a fine from this. They did not tell you that you needed to arrange your own congestion charge and it doesn't make sense that the Friday was already paid. Their admin fee is extreme.
Hi There, im sorry to hear about your dis-satisfaction with the charge that has been made.1car1 do not have a branch within the congestion zone so this is why you would not have received a charge for the Friday, But if you drove through a CCZ while the vehicle was in your possession then you are liable for the charges.All of this is made clear with flyers in all of our locations, plus all of our locations surrounding the CCZ ask all customers to sign a seperate agreement notifying them of the charges.If there is anything else you think we should be aware of then please do not hesitate to contact me direct.Rob GillespieDevelopment [email protected]
