We Booked A Hotel In Athens For 3 Nights About 2 M
We booked a hotel in Athens for 3 nights about 2 months ago and just 2 weeks befor we're due to go on holiday we received a cancellation email from reservationseurope.com saying that the financial partner went into administration.
If we want to keep the reservation we'll need to contact the hotel direct or i can get a refund from my credit card co.
I've contacted my credit card co and they knew about 24hours booking going bankrupt so i can claim my money back luckily.
Also contacted the hotel and they had my reservation details but was also cancelled on their system and they have never recived the money even though i got charged straightaway so we're still staying in the hotel but will pay them directly when we get there and i'll get my money back from the card company eventually...

Avoid "24 Hours Booking" or reservationseurope.com by all means. They are completely fraud. Never never even login to their site! They first confirm the reservation, then collect all the payment, and afterwards sen an e-mail to you saying the reservation has been cancelled, but you are not refunded for the payment. They should be jailed right away!

This company is completly fraud. 24hoursbooking.com or reservationseurope.com they are from Greece Located in Athens. I am from the Netherlands booked together with a friend 2 rooms in Turkey total costs 4000 Euro we recieved nice confirmation e-mail we printed out this mail and fly to Turkey once arrived at the hotel we had the shock of our lives they even not heard of those two companies before so the confirmation was totaly a lie.
We tried tom make contact with them but it was not possible next day we heard that the agent had made the reservations to another hotel in the area by mistake. We visited that hotel but it was a 3star hotel instead of our original reservation was a five star hotel so we didnt accepted paid to another 5 star hotel in cash to finish our vacation. Once back in Holland we started a legal action in Greece to get our money back.
If you have any intentions to book something thru this company please contact the hotel first to fin out if they really have the right to book for them. Better forget this company book somewhere else.

We are from Australia and have also had a bad experience with Reservations Europe.com. We were not supplied with the phone number, directions or address for the hotel upon booking. When we arrived in Milos we asked the tourist office who sent to us to a hotel with a simlar name. We then called Reservations Europe Athens and a man supplied us with a phone number for the hotel, which rang out every time we called. We called back Res Europe who were unable to help us anymore. We then advised them that we would like a full refund as we would need to find another hotel, and they agreed.
It has now been 3 months and still no refund after many emails and phone calls. They seem to be blaming it on the local Milos office and taking NO responsibility for the fact that they have taken our money and then failed to provide the details of the hotel so that we could actually locate it.
Now I am beginning to think that the whole thing is a fraud - that they never had a booking with the hotel in Milos, merely taking our money and running!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY - THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND COMPLETELY UNTRUSTWORTHY.
Please let me know if you have also had negative issues and have had any luck resolving it.

This company is a Scam.
I found this review helpful because...I had the exact same experience. I made a Hotel reservation in July 2009 for a hotel in Paros, Greece, my credit card was immidiate charged + EUR 400 and tree day later ReservationsEurope or 24hours Boking cancled the reservation and never paid back. I sent them different accounts and international transfer instruccions, they send back falls bank reciept, no transfer has never been make. ReservationsEurope or 24housBooking is a scam.

I booked a hotel in kemer turkey for 5 nights they confirmed and charged the sum immediatly from my creditcard the same day I contacted the hotel and find out that the reservation was fake. When I told them that the hotel did not accepted their confirmation they came with a alternative hotel which I did not accepted and cancelled all resevations. This is 40 days ago and I did not have my payment back. Be warned reservationseurope.com makes reservations to hotels worldwide and collect the payment without the confirmations of the hotel.

I Booked A Hotel In Greece And Received A Confirma
I booked a hotel in Greece and received a confirmation of booking. They also deducted 2000 Euro from my credit card. When I arrived at the hotel they had no knowledge of the reservation and the hotel was booked fully. I manage to get a room at the villa part of the hotel for a rack rate. After contacting '24 hours Booking' they said that they would refund the money to my credit card and that the hotel suddenly informed them that there was no rooms available. After waiting for 2 weeks i called to check for the refund and they informed me that they do not longer refund on credit cards. I send them my account number and are still waiting for refund. I have not received any written reply nor any confirmation. These guys are absolutely acting unprofessional and I would not recommend anybody to book through them. So do not make the mistake I made.

Booked 3 rooms in a 5 star hotel in Turkey via this company paid over 9000 Euro. The money had been taken from the cards at the time of the booking a month in advance of the holiday. 2 weeks later we called the hotel to confirm the booking, nothing there, called Reservations Europe they said the booking 100% done nothing to worry about.
So after a long flight we arrived at the hotel with 3 children to find out there was no booking whatsoever and no available rooms for the whole period of our holiday. Called Reservations Europe, talked to a man (didn't sound particularly concerned or surprised) he said that he would find out what was happening and call back. After waiting in the lobby of the hotel for 2! hours and a few more calls to Reservations Europe we found out that there was nothing they could do that day and that we had to pay 3100 USD to the hotel as a deposit as Peter called it (actually it was for the rooms for 2 days). Promises were made that everything would be sorted by 12 tomorrow and the 3100 returned to us. So next day came and after a number of calls on our part a local agent who works with Reservations Europe arrived at the hotel. He informed us that there had been no reservation made for our names therefore no funds had been transferred to them so there was nothing he could do except maybe try to find us another hotel that we had to pay for! but basically it's not his problem.
To keep a long story short, after that it was even worse. Countless calls to Reservations Europe, local agent blames them/they say he was responsible, nobody wants to do anything, we are somehow in the middle of this and instead of waiting for they to have this mess sorted we had to search for an alternative accommodation ourselves and suggest it to them. Several times we told them that if it's not sorted they leave us no choice but to sue. Finally they got that we were serious about pressing charges and when we were ready to catch the flights home and already contacted our lawyers with this matter they booked an alternative accommodation for us at this hotel. (which was not particularly convenient because it was a villa and as 2 separate families we had to share the bathroom and living room). Also, for some reason, they were unable to pay for this alternative accommodation for the whole period of time, only on a daily basis so every day we had to wait for the confirmation from the hotel that we don't have to check out at 12.
To sum up, even though the situation was resolved, we don't think it's an acceptable behavior for a travel company and don't want somebody else to find themselves in this nightmare situation. Therefore we want to sue Reservations Europe for moral damages and urge anyone who had a bad experience with them to get in touch with us for a class suit.
