I have been buying a bordeaux for my mother for years. Vintage wine gifts has been so helpful especially the lovely lady I deal with every year who helps me with choosing the best vintage for the ocassion. So thank you!!!

I ordered a 50 year old 1/2 bottle of port for a friend's birthday. When I received a phone call about the order I was initially worried especially when they said that it had gone out of stock. However, they were merely calling me to ask if it was ok to send me full bottle of the same vintage that was in fact more highly rated instead! Having looked it up since I have discovered that it was nearly twice as much. Now that's what I call customer service!

The wine itself, which admittedly is the most important part, was the correct bottle thankfully! A 1958 Chianti for my dad’s 60th birthday. However everything else was most definitely not as advertised... “This vintage wine is shipped in a deluxe silk lined wooden presentation box with four wine accessories (corkscrew, wine pourer, drip stopper & wine thermometer)” ...the wooden box was certainly not silk lined but rather a cheap feeling plain (and thin) box that would feel at home on the supermarket shelves containing a £20 bottle of port; the four wine accessories were nowhere to be seen!

As I say, the wine is the most important part, however when you’re advertising yourself as a wine gifts merchant (not just a wine merchant) it is incredibly disappointing when the ‘gift’ part of that is non existence.

Ordering was admittedly nice and easy although the website does have an outdated feel to use. The only part of the service I can say was extremely efficient was the delivery... well done APC Couriers!

Hopefully the wine itself will make up for it when he drinks it, however if you’re looking for a well presented gift I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I purchased a bottle of champaign for my wifes 30th birthday and it came next day in a lovely box and tasted really special. They also sent me a tracking number and a text to let me know what timet would be delivered. Why can't internet shopping always be like this?

Due to the stupid liquor laws in Canada don't bother. Customs and Vintage Wine Gifts don't seem to understand each other and as a result I never received my item.

Bought a lovely bottle of wine for friend's 40th. Delivered on time, no fuss. Customer service really excellent, replied to queries on time and lovely manner. Thoroughly recommend :)

Great selection of wines, superb gift.

For the third time in 4 years different members of my family and friends have tried to send me a gift from this site. One was a red which arrived with the presentation box broken and just could not get them to respond on sending a replacement. Both the second two were supposedly good vintage Chablis's as everyone knows I'm a bit of a fanatic about this wine and on both occasions the wine was completely undrinkable. I have passed this on to as many people as I know and it is hard to tell someone who has purchased you an expensive gift that the quality was rubbish but at least they won't waste their money again!

I am a really cautious internet shopper and was looking to spend £100 plus on a bottle of wine so I searched several review sites to make sure all would be Ok. All teh companies had some good and bad reviews but I choose this company and all was fine with the Super Tuscan wine arriving on time and tasting great - would recommend

We wanted to get a 40 year old red wine for our sons birthday. I emailed the company and got great advice on which wines to choose. We picked two different wines which were delivered on time and beautifully presented. Unfortunately one of the bottles was leaking slightly and when I advised them they personally delivered a replacement bottle.

The service was excellent from beginning to end. I hope my son enjoys the special wines we chose.

The product was nicely packaged with wine accessories however, I expected AM delivery and got the parcel around 11.45. Obviously this wasn't too big a problem Good customer service as I had some enquiries after I purchased the product and I got swift responses as they always answer t here phone with a uk call centre. The wine a Lynch Bages 1982 was the most stunning bottle of wine I have ever taken to a dinner party and thankfully was opened by the host! people really though i knew my wines! thank you I will be back
