They Hide All Of Their Negative Reviews

Every review you leave on the app or website that is low they don't post and intentionally hide. The Emma mattress 50% off promotion they are currently doing says the double mattress was £759 and is now amazingly 50% off! Wow, what a bargain...

Except they have never been double the price, its all untrue to hide inflated prices.

Just avoid B&Q at all costs, everything is overpriced rubbish that you can find elsewhere cheaper and often better.

Wish I Hadn’t Bothered

Currently on day 3 of painting the stairs and landing. Absolute nightmare, the first coat barely covered the previous colour, has dried patchy and some areas have needed 4 coats. My advice: spend a bit more on better paint. It’s worth it for the time saved alone!

Garbage

2 coats and it's still patchy and that was on top of a similar colour. Utter rubbish paint ...one if the worst I've used in 40 years of decoratingm

Never Again

I've been a decorator for over fifty years,b&q colours premium paint is one of the worst paint I have ever used.have put four coats of paint on wall and it's still not covering properly.what a waste of money.have had to buy Dulux emulsion of a similar colour for final coat.

Never Again!

Decided to try Colours Everywhere to paint woodwork in hall. Paid someone to do it and the said it was the worst paint they had ever used. It was only done 3 weeks ago and it is chipping off everywhere. I stay myself so not due to kids banging stuff against it. Its chipping off the doors, skirting and facings. Worst paint ever! Pay extra for Dulux or Crown!!

B&q Colours Emulsion

I have used b&q emulsion for many years, but something has happened to it lately,we moved house a year ago and needed to paint every room, naturally,i bought b&q.suspicions were raised when I noticed the white wasn't covering as it should,it took two coats to cover a very pale off white, but the dark colours are the worst!,it took five coats of dark grey to cover a cream wall, andi am now on the second coat of teal emulsion as it's not doing the job,i expect it will need another coat, the emulsion is very thick and sticky and the walls are very patchy,i won't be buying it again!.

A Disappointing Purchase .........

I bought 2 this B&Q Colours "Premium" for a bedroom - a feature wall in silk Terracotta and the rest in matt Fog - a light grey. The silk went on fairly well and although it took 2 coats I was reasonably happy with the result. Not so the matt! I was covering a previously painted wall which only had one coat on it in a light colour but the B&Q paint seemed to be too thick. It dragged badly and it was extremely hard to work with. Really difficult to get good coverage and apart from one small area the whole thing is patchy and, as I've run out, I will have to buy more to apply another coat [one more only hopefully!].

I painted the radiator too and a wooden bedding box but neither of those have worked out at all. I knocked the radiator with something and the paint came off immediately. Same for the bedding box - the paint has not adhered well to the wood. I prepped it beforehand but it's not a pleasing result. So much for being able to be used on all surfaces! It's billed as "our most toughest, versatile paint". Really ??

Awful!! Patchy And Doesnt Cover.

I tried B&Q antique white paint and a red paint in the same range. Just awful. It wasnt until the 3rd coat on the red wall had dried that I realised it had all dried patchy. The white paint didnt even cover a light grey after 3 coats and there was hardly any paint left. My husband suggested I use B&Q paint to save money!! Luckily he is unfortunately going to be the one returning this paint and he will be painting our sons room as I was happy with my dulux choice which he suggested I swap!! One very disappointed 9 year old who is unable to sleep in his room which is unsideside until we can purchase some decent dulux paint. Lesson for you all, DONT BUY B&Q PAINT!!!!

Rubbish

Absolute rubbish I'm on 4th coat of Light rain and still looks like a patchwork quilt. Staff at store had cheek to say my house must be damp. Refused a refund. I'm now left with living room that looks shocking, run out of time, energy and money to redo !!;
