Please Don't Waste Your Time Buying..
Just spent an agonising two weeks trying to paint a (small bedroom) with this product. Unfortunately we didn't check reviews in advance, and, after several futile attempts to get it to stay on wall without cracking looked at reviews to find many other had this issue - dating back to 2008 and they're still selling the stuff!!
When we went back for refund it was given without question - we had distinct impression this was a regular occurrance. Have just completed one wall of room with Dulux in no time, no streaks nor cracks - an absolute world of difference!

Cracks Appear Soon After Finishing Job
I bought this paint because it was all I could afford at the time. I was very careful about prepping the walls. A few weeks after decorating cracks appeared mainly around the edges of the walls and over time covered all of the walls. It was some time before I could get the money together to repaint. I had to spend quite a lot of money on a special undercoat to hide the cracks and a good quality branded paint. A lot of time & money wasted on a cheap, poor quality product.

B&q Emulsion
Tried B&Q paint for the first and last time - Jan 2016. Problems When cutting in with brush it churns up the previous colour despite the walls been prepared correctly 4 attempts no good. Also if you paint using a roller that is wet it will dry a different colour, the paint is very "chalky". My advise avoid like the plague. We used B&Q grey 'Alfie' now going out to purchase some real paint.
A long shot, do you still have any Alfie paint left I could buy?
I am just preparing to go to B & Q to complain about the grey "Alfie" paint as it is drying streaky....just as you describe. I googled it without any expectancy that others would have had the same - so read your very recent comment with interest.
Did you go back to B & Q or did you simply purchase new paint?
Peels Off
newly plastered walls allowed to dry sealed with b&q emulsion. first coat fine second coat started to bubble ,ended up peeling paint off like wall paper, straight back to plaster. in 30 years of decorating have never seen anything like it
Thank you so much for posting - have exactly the same problem and now a bigger problem of the time it is going to take to put it right. Don't buy this stuff!

Worst Paint On The Market
This is the WORST paint I have ever used, and I have used most emulsion and latex house paints, on both sides of the ocean! This paint goes on badly, requires 3 or 4 coats to make it look even remotely decent, and is just a big waste of time. Spend the extra £5 and get Dulux, or even Crown. Anything but B&Q. It streaks, it shows every single brush mark, roller mark, or paint pad mark, and it required two 2.5L tubs of it to cover one white ceiling in a small room. Just terrible. I'm so unhappy with the results and the cost.

Worst Emulsion On The Market!!!!!!!!!!!
this paint does not cover it seems to have a good colour in the tub but on the walls it seems to go.they say a tub will cover 30sqmts this might be if you still want to see the original colour of the wall before you started.
this paint should be taken off the shelfs till they sort out the problems people have with it. i am now going out to buy dulux paint as i should have in the first place,

B&q Emulsion Paint And Their Customer Support Rubbish !!!!!!
I purchased two different colours of emulsion paint for my kitchen, the walls were clean and dry, the paint went on fine all appeared ok until a couple of weeks later when the paint started to crackle and peel and then some months later got alot worse, I complained to B&Q and they sent me some pots asking for samples of the flake and the paint, it has now been 9 months later and I have heard nothing follows numerous phone calls, clearly avoiding me, I now need to rub all the walls down and start again using either Crown or Dulux which I have never had problems with.
B & Q you know your paint has major problems but you do not want to admit it, very very naughty !!
Regards
Much of it is also very see through requiring several coats. I've come to the conclusion that it's cheaper for a reason. IT'S CHEAP! as in RUBBISH!
It's false economy to use poor products and in the long run we're best going with a paint that the trade use. Keep an eye on local decorators, see what they buy. I doubt very much it will say B&Q on it.
We too had the same problems, sent off samples that to B & Q credit was sent to the manufacture in Germany, after weeks of waiting I call Germany myself, had to send off new samples. as to be expected, they said of the thousands of litres produced they had not had any complaints and after testing the samples could not find a problem with them. They sussested that the problem must have been my walls. As a good will gesture sent credit note to re do walls using the same. Have not done so yet and no likely to.

Bubble And Peeled
Bought Alfie and georgia, first coat went on ok. Put second coat and Georgia is still streaky. The edges seemed a little flakey. When putting the second coat of Alfie on bubbles appeared and stripped all the paint off back to plaster. I have never seen paint like this. I contacted customer help line and then soon had call from Germany. He has "never heard anything like this" am sending samples but doesn't help the state of my room. DO NOT RISK USING THIS PRODUCT. I have just wasted a week off work painting and now probably going to start all over again after peeling off the colours.
Six months on the paint on the wall has cracked and peeled close to where it previously bubbled. I would suggest to sand down. It has ruined our bedroom
Exactly same thing has happened to me, I'm going to have to start all over again. Its approx 6 weeks since I painted the bathroom and its just getting worse bringing all the previous layers of paint off down to the plaster, I'm worried about applying different paint on top - what will happen then!

B & Q Emulsion
As in other reviews, I agree that the stuff is rubbish. It won't stick to the wall and dries with a bubble effect which in fairness does go but the stuff is just watered-down rubbish. Far better and less stressful to go for Dulux or Crown - at least that sticks to the wall and covers in one coat.
