Rubbish Service But Got My Money Back !!!

I ordered from them and like most other people Redhill failed to deliver and they went AWOL on the 14th February 2013. However, I anticipated this, and as soon as my items were not delivered, I rang them emailed them and of course they ignored me. I contacted my bank and claimed a VISA debit chargeback (not a Visa credit chargeback as I did not use my Visa Card). Thankfully 10 days latter the money was back in my account. I instead ordered my goods from a NEFF authorised dealer which I found on the NEFF website. The service was fantastic and I would most definitely recommend Roy at ftrkas.com Professional service. Delivery arrived on the day as promised, and I found their price competitive.

Redhill left many customers disappointed

If this company are admitting to having money and back in business then a full enquiry should be made.

All the negative reviews on this website cannot be lies!!!!!! Therefore Redhill your case is pathetic and laughable. You went bust... just go away gracefully.

Perhaps if Redhill are making the admission that they still have money they should be taken to court to re-imburse the countless people on this site who claim that money was taken and service not given. Perhaps a full enquiry should be made.

If this is true take me to court. I STILL have copies of all email exchqnges and my bank are also witness to this. Your a vile unprofessional company. All the other customers who have complained cant be lying. Are you attempting to get back in business ? I would glady have my day in court with you. II wont respond to any further messages from you unless you write me directly with legal paperwork. You are a liar and my clear concise review is wholely accurate. I stand by EVERYTHING I said!

your review is unjustified and false, we called you regarding your delivery to which we received a bucket full of abuse and quite frankly we are happy not to deal with someone as rotten as you.

your money was refunded to your account by us and not by 'VISA' as you are falsly claiming.

I have read several of the reviews and unless Redhill have changed all their staff, I cannot understand why they have so many bad reviews. I have bought several appliances from them and the service has been second to none pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. Delivery was always fast and they always informed me. The appliances themselves were as stated and after searching I found them most competitive. Because of a mistake by our kitchen supplier I could not have the hob I ordered and been sent. Redhill changed this with no argument. I shall continue to use Redhill and recommend them. They are brilliant.

Ordered a washing machine beginning of December and cancelled the order today (end of Jan) as it still hasn't arrived.

It was supposed to be delivered in a week and I have chased several times. They have never contacted me and now say a damaged one was delivered to them but can't tell me when that was! Customer service is appalling.

I hope I get my money back before they go under!

Excellent Company

I ordered a Miele fridge freezer before Christmas and was told it was out stock and would be delivered the 2nd or 3rd week of January. True to their word, Redhill Appliances delivered yesterday on time. Very helpful delivery man. I was delighted with the price - £198 cheaper than John Lewis. Would use this company again.

Websites Claim They Have Stock, They Do Not

Waste of time dealing with this company.

They claim items are in stock but seem to only act as broker, and buy when they have your order.. Hence long delivery times.

Ceased Trading - So Glad I Smelt A Rat In December

I've just heard from my neighbour that Redhill Appliances has ceased trading. I called them in December when I needed a new oven and hob for a kitchen renovation. The price was great, and they then offered me a further discount if I paid in full there and then and took delivery in the new year. Something inside told me something was up, a hunch, intuition, whatever, I smelt a rat. I'm just so sorry I didn't write anything on the internet then, as now I understand people have lost a lot of money.

I ended up going to RDO, opposite the cinema in Reigate. They sold me the oven I wanted and a better hob for the same money and had both in stock. I also ended up buying a new extractor fan, ex-display and half normal price!!

All was delivered quickly and efficiently. I must say, their staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful and I wondered why I hadn't gone there in the first place.

Had I Read.....

Had I read the reviews left for this company I would not have ordered from them. However I did not read the reviews, just telephoned to enquire about a particular Miele Larder Fridge. I was immediately told when the fridge would be in their warehouse and the delivery date, about ten days after I placed the order. The fridge was about £40.00 cheaper than anywhere else. They telephoned the expected day of the delivery to give me a time slot - within the next three hours. About twenty minutes later the driver turned up with the fridge. An excellent service in my opinion and I'm pleased I didn't read the reviews as I might not have ordered the fridge if I had. I'm sorry if some people's experience was not as good as my own but I can only praise this company

Have They Ceased Trading?

Much the same as others. AEG oven ordered on 07/01/2013. Delivery promised on 14/02/2013 but no show. Website tells the tale of telephone system down but engineers on site - very probably another lie! Answerphone at South Croydon showroom refusing to take anymore messages. It seems likely that that they have ceased trading. Can anyone confirm this?

I can, I drove there today to both showrooms and there unmanned and the Redhill showroom has a big for sale sign above the door.

They also changed the message on the website to what actually has happened,

No News Is Bad News

I ordered an AEG Cooker on 17 January but told out of stock. Received confirmation of order with invoice details and advised they would contact when available for delivery. GUESS WHAT? After two weeks we had to contact them at which time they advised that the cooker would be in stock and ready for delivery on 14 FEBRUARY. GUESS WHAT? No delivery and have been unable to contact either by telephone or e-mail (Web Notice says telephone out of order). Tried to track goods through invoice number GUESS WHAT? Delivery site says invoice number not recognised!! So no cooker for a month and unable to contact them without driving to their offices!!!

I have had virtually the same problem with Redhill. We have taken two days off work for the delivery of our tumble drier and they haven't turned up on either dates. We ordered on 24 December. Cannot contact them. I am so furious. They were supposed to deliver yesterday. WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!

Warning - Do Not Buy From Redhill Appliances

Much the same as all other complaints

I ordered and paid for a dishwasher (£685). Was promised delivery within 10 days. Six weeks and many excuses later it still hadn't arrived. I finally agreed a delivery date and on the day they came to collect my old dishwasher. However, they never delivered the new one.

When I phoned I was told that I was lying and that no delivery date had ever been arranged. They even told me that the collection of the old dishwasher was not by them and must have been a random company coincidentally knocking on doors to collect old dishwashers on the very day I was expecting mine (bizarre).

When I said I wanted a refund he said "Good, I'll arrange for that". When I then said I would be writing this review, he just laughed. I certainly hope I will not have the same trouble as others getting my refund.
