Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXL Ice Blonde 01

I bought this product slightly skeptical as I've always had my hair dyed professionally, however my roots were driving me insane and I needed a cheap alternative.

My hair is a light ash blonde, so I bought the Shade 11 Light Blonde product. I am extremely happy with the results as my roots have gone! The instructions told me to leave it on for 30 minutes but I left it on for 20 just in case it did completely destroy my hair, and thankfully - it didn't!

Highly recommended for people who are looking to brighten up their hair and hide their roots. Great value for money.

Put it on for the recommended time, used 2 boxes cause my hairs really thick and iv've come out ginger and bright yellow. Just wondering if I could dye my hair brown again or would it go wrong?

Yeah my hair is purple, it's dry and my split ends just broke off (i didnt have alot of them though) all from this hairdye. I actually need to go to a salon and get this fixed.. I am so freaking mad right now!! School starts in a week im 17 if i go to school like this oh my goodness its social suicide!! Please never buy this unless you wanna look stupid...

This product worked well for me, my hair was brownish with blonde highlights and comes down to my armpit and I wanted to go all blonde. Although my hairdresser said I would go orange I decided to buy this product. My first attempt went well with my blonde highlights going really bright blonde, but my roots and the darker parts of my hair did go orangey/ginger. Although the pack recommends using two packs - so I did and it worked really well second time round. My hair is now very blonde and looks brill. I am very happy and it was worth buying it for £10 rather than £70 at a hairdressers.

Hey I really love this hair dye I won't ever go to the hairdressers and pay 50 - 60 pound again. My hair was dark blonde anyway from going to the hairdressers before xxl live I used lorel and garnier on my roots and it was a yellow, so I then seen xxl live and coloured all my hair and it left my hair bleach blonde really nice blonde which I wanted and left no yellow atall. It does dry your hair out like all dyes but you need to look after it and use damaged dry hair shampoo and conditioner. Also I use oil just a little but on damp hair to protect it from heat. Amazing price hope they don't stop it. I won't use any other dye leaves your hair yellow not attractive just looks a mess and cheap. I reckon because I already had blondish hair it worked better. Not sure what its like going fromdark brown to blonde. But overall love it well worth the money and recommend it.

I used this and only half of my hair covered, it's patchy and horrible and a very yellow colour. Only the top half of my hair has covered and now I have to walk around until my hair is ok to colour again. My advise is if you want it done, get it done properly it's not worth it when you have to pay out more because it's turned out bad and the hairdresser has more to do than original. The only good thing about it is that it's cheap but then again you get what you pay for in life. I wouldn't recommended this to anyone. I am so disappointed with the result and how much it agrovated my scalp. Usually im prone to not ever having pain or itchiness when I have my hair coloured but this litualy burnt my scalp and I had scaps falling from my scalp where it burnt it so bad. If I had read this sooner there is no way I would have had it done. It is rubbish. Not even worth it.

I'm a hair stylist and this really annoys me! I didn't train for years and years for nothing!

Also annoys me that loreal are professional products but will produce such c*** for people to ruin their hair just to make a few quid!

my hair was highlighted light brown/blonde, used this and it turned my hair yellow, snapped half the strands, gave me split ends and dried out my hair, horrendous, wouldnt use ever again!!!

I'm reading all these reviews about saying the hair dye and product is rubbish yet most people have not stated what there hair condition was before and what colour it was, I've used a stronger version of this product on my brown hair with red tones and yes ill admit it does not leave your hair in the best condition, but what bleaching product does ? I used it 4 or 5 times all over and it was fine I've used it for nearly a year, and am about to use it again, with every hair product you have your risks, its YOUR choice and YOUR responsability what you do with your hair and its in your hands, don't blame the product its just doing what its made for its your own fault if your hair is in bad condition and you've chosen to use it.

Im naturally blonde and usually use another product to go lighter. I thought id use live as it says it reduces red tones in blonde hair. This is clearly NOT the case. Not only is my hair now a disgusting yellow its also very patchy!!. I would not recommend this product to anyone. And think they need to address their packaging and state what the product actually can do not be misleading ! TERRIBLE!
