Wrongly Addressed Invoice And Delivery Charge Added

Ordered laptop battery over the telephone, aceptefd price quoted. Gave my company name at time for invoice. Battery arrived, invoice wrongly addressed and charge made for delivery. Phoned to get invoice reissued in correct name and query delivery charge. They tell me they cannot reissue an invoice and delivery is always charged. The assistant should have paid attention to invoice request and quoted the delivery charge when ordering. I will not use this company again.

They need to quote delivery charge at time of ordering as this could be any amount.

*DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY*

I ordered a ~£100 laptop palm rest from Laptop Bits that was on a 2-3 day back order and standard delivery. I waited 31 days before contacting them to cancel my order. The company did not reply to my cancellation, and did not reply until i sent several further emails and even a support ticket through their website, only replying after i threatened legal action. (27 days after the initial cancellation) They confirmed that the order had been cancelled. I have now waited 58 days and still have not received a refund. They initially told me that it was an error by their account team, however i have still not received my money back. They have had my ~£100 for 132 days. I am now talking to Trading Standards and will be starting legal proceedings against this company. *DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY*

Exemplary Service Left Me With A Smile On My Heart. Acer.

Family run business. Owners take personal charge of orders. When i received an email confirming my order for an Acer laptop screen and time of arrival i noticed it was a matte screen and i wanted a glossy screen. No problem, a glossy screen was dispatched for next day delivery and i was emailed a label to put on the parcel containing the matte screen which i took to my local myHermes courier service.

myHermes courier service left the matte screen just inside the entrance to my block of flats and a neighbour kindly brought it up 3 floors and left it outside my door.

A courier for NPD (i think that's what it's called) the next day delivery service delivered the glossy screen and i signed for it.

The website is easy to use and the owners are very helpful. They showed me how to calculate the watts for my laptop power supply - Volts x Amps. Thanks owners!

The Laptopbits team make our world a better place.

i would definitely use this service again and recommend it to others.

Serious dog damage to my keyboard, thought I was going to have to have a new laptop. A friend reccomended Laptop Bits. They were great, friendly and helpful and my new keyboard arrived 2 days later.

Got Me Up And Running Next Day.

My E key stopped working. You need an E key. Panic - phone call - they explained slowly and simply - I am not very practical. The keypad arrived next morning. Panic - phone call - they explained slowly and simply again. I am now a computer boffin because in the land of the blind...

Thanks Laptopbits For Great Friendly Personal!

I hadn't dealt with this firm but couldn't find the part I needed anywhere else. I saw the last review and was a bit hesitant so I rang them. Talked the problem through and they agreed I needed a new keyboard. It arrived today and is now fitting and working fine.

I told them I'd read the last couple of reviews on here and they explained that they have to pay to reply to them. They were really unhappy about them and didn't feel this was fair. The last one was a customer who had returned a part after nearly a year expecting a refund!!! That didn't sound fair so I promised to review their service honestly - so here it is!

The Second Coming Happened Faster

Ordered item on 27th Dec, it's now the 6th Jan. Sent email yesterday morning - no reply. Phoned this morning. Item allegedly out for delivery today. No apology. I've dealt with many companies for laptop parts in the past and I certainly won't be dealing with this company again. Their website looks like something from the 90s, which should have been a warning, but it was the only place I could get the part in the UK. Should have ordered it from China - even on a slow boat it would have arrived faster!
