I was not picked up on 09/10/2024 from Albufeira to Faro Airport (SUNTR_QG0442)

After waiting 40 minutes and calling support with no answer, I ended up booking a taxi.

It took them over a month to investigate the case, and after chasing them again, I received an answer claiming the driver was there waiting for me. AVOID!

Suntransfer is the worst company ever! I have booked a return transfer with them, paid online and they stood me twice! No-one waited at the airport, I have contacted their live chat support where the driver is and all they said is "We apologies please find another transfer and we will compensate!". They did the same thing for the return trip as well. Now they are not replying over email, support team claims that they can't help me over chat and I need to email. So I paid 2 times and I did NOT GET MY TRANSFER! PLEASE DONT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM!

Driver not present upon arrival. Went to their stand and they called the driver and told me he was on his way. Family after me had the same issue. It gave me a bad feeling straight away.

Driver arrived over twenty minutes late. There was no explanation why the delay occurred.

I contacted customer service a couple of days later, and my experience turned into a nightmare.

They denied the delay, which is incredible, since it took them over thirty days to reply to.

I sent them a detailed timeline and said that their claim that the driver was present upon my arrival was impossible. They basically took no accountability and called me a liar.

Do NOT use this service. You have been warned.

Disappointing Car Pick-Up Experience

I recently reserved a car pick-up service for 8:30 AM on August 22, 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. My party arrived at the airport at 8:47 AM, but there was no driver waiting for us as expected. After reaching out to the service hotline, I was assured that someone would arrive shortly, but the driver didn’t show up until 9:06 AM—over 30 minutes late.

To make matters worse, when we finally got into the minivan, the driver had forgotten to close my door and was about to drive off! Thankfully, I noticed this and was able to close the door myself before anything serious happened. This level of carelessness is really concerning.

I decided to write a complaint email to the company, hoping for a resolution, but the reply I received was disappointing and did not address my concerns adequately.

Overall, this experience has been frustrating and has caused significant inconvenience for my party. Given the delays, the lack of attention to detail, and the unsatisfactory response from customer service, I would not recommend this service.

As a company focused on customer service it is extremely important for us to receive emails from our customers and we are grateful for your comments.

You mention that you did not meet with your driver when you entered the arrivals hall. Normally drivers allow adequate time for passengers to disembark from the plane, clear passport control and collect their luggage and on occasions it might be that a customer came through unexpectedly quickly and the driver may not be in the arrivals hall yet.

We have a Customer Service team available 24/7 to assist our customers if needed and a quick call to our team will usually ensure that the customers locate their driver and are on their way within minutes/as soon as possible.

We acknowledge that delays can be frustrating, and we are continuing to work on these aspects of our service.

Waited on bus for transfer to Benidorm for 1hr 40 mins, last hour was waiting for 1 person, return transfer, sent me to wrong place for pickup, ended up having to pay £70 for taxi, not interested when I spoke to them, please avoid this shockingly inept company.

I give one star because I have to, if I could, it would be 0

On July 14th, I had booked your service from Alicante airport to Benidorm and due to a delay in the flight, they refused to transport me without giving me any alternative.

On my return, on July 28th, they arranged the collection location and time over the phone and they didn't show up, they called me to say they were in another location, I promptly went to the indicated location and when I got there it had already started. I tried to call and the phone was off

The employees are very rude people

I feel ripped off by this company and I don't recommend it to anyone.

At the airport there are super affordable hourly bus services.

Flight arrived on time but passport control delayed us coming through to meet our private transfer. We called Suntransfers customer service to let them know. The driver left and they wouldn't reschedule and as it wasn't their fault they will not refund any of the £150 we paid for the transfer.

Awful company. Booked a taxi from the airport- never arrived. I kept being told 10 minutes.

I ended up having to pay for a yellow taxi.

Still no refund from them. They just blank you.

Avoid!!

I booked a transfer in Tenerife, but had to cancel in February 2024. I realised that they didn't automatically issue a refund of over £200 and have now been dealing with them for weeks to get it processed (still nothing) and has now moved from incompetence to feeling like it's nefarious. Swerve like the plague. Not worth the hassle. Get yourself a cab from the airport and save the distress of having to deal with them if you have to.

I made to 2 Vans bookings to be pick up at Rome Cruise terminal and we got stranded, Van/Driver no where to be found. Our worst nightmare
