The Original Xbox Is Still A Very Powerful Console
The original xbox is still a very powerful console today even in 2010. It offers superior features to the wii with much more ambitious games.
Capable of upto 1080i resolution, true 5.1 sound, 32bit colour and many other great features. Games like Doom 3, Half Life 2 and the Halo series show how powerful it is.
Nowadays it can be used as a media centre and can emulate consoles upto N64 power. You can install a different hdd and go upto 2TB in size.

Having Previously Owned A Ps1 And Ps2 For Some Tim
Having previously owned a PS1 and PS2 for some time it was only after I had played the Xbox for a year that I realized how lacklustre the PS2 was.
Having managed several major US video game retail stores for many years, I was in the habit of having people ask me if I repaired Sony PS2's.
When responding no, I automatically suggested that they purchase an Xbox because the defective Xbox return rate was a fraction of PS2's.
Upon recommending the more reliable system, I pointed out that for the same cost, you get more console. No need to buy online adapters or memory cards.
Since then, I have discarded the Sony and chosen the Xbox as my primary gaming console. In light of the new Xbox360, I may upgrade.
The Xbox is superior to it's Sony counterpart in two areas
Fewer required accessories, and (in my experience) better reliability.
I have owned the very same Xbox for almost 6 years and have logged several thousand hours of game play on it.
Given the option of the PS2 or the Xbox, go with the Xbox, you'll thank yourself later.
The Microsoft Xbox is pretty much obsolete now, but the Xbox provided some real great gaming! Good machine.

The Microsoft Xbox Has Been Recently Outdated By T
The Microsoft Xbox has been recently outdated by the 360, but it is still a great console to buy if you're looking for an amazing gaming system.
The internal hard drive is superior to memory cards, and it can hold more than you could ever want, including music. The Xbox's Ethernet port provides the option to link consoles together or connect to the internet for Xbox live. Games for the Xbox have superb graphics, and there are thousands to choose from.
If you can find one for a decent price, buy an Xbox and you won't regret it. Don't think that it will disappoint you because it has been outdone by the 360.

I Chose To Get The Microsoft Xbox Gaming System Mo
I chose to get the Microsoft Xbox gaming system mostly because of the best in class graphics. Although the game selection was less than competitive at first, the Xbox has surpassed both the PS2 and Nintendo's attempt at a game system, the Gamecube. The Xbox Live feature is probably the best online system that has been released to date. The next generation will surely follow its predecessors footsteps and also be a great buy.
Best console out until the ps3 comes!!

I Used To Be A Ps2 Lover Until I Got My Xbox. I Wo
I used to be a PS2 lover until I got my Xbox. I won it at school and I thought I was the luckiest person alive.
First of all games are outstanding for the Xbox. HALO AND HALO 2 rock, Half Life, Need for Speed, Doom series, and GTA is on the Xbox now.
Hey shane, this is omegagodly about the psp review, this has nothing to do with the Xbox. the PSP is probably the best way to go, i would not, and have not bought the DS for many reasons, including it does not have an internet browser, the games list is not as extensive as the PSP's, it cannot play movies on its chip, you cannot download songs, movies, or pics. you cannot buy movies to play on it. it might seem to have a good 3-D virtual graphics engine, but i've played a DS for hours and the graphics are not as good as people think. it might have a lower price, but for all the negative reasons (and more) i've listed above, the DS does not compare to the PSP in no way shape or form. i would buy the PSP no doubt about it because its a much better system than the DS. the dead pixels can be unstuck by downloading a movies that repeatedly plays different flashing colors, and if played for a long a mount of time it will cause the pixels to constantly changed and unstick the stuck pixels, because on an LCD screen there is no such thing as dead pixels, just stuck pixels. you can download the movie by typing it in on google, or email me and i'll send you a copy of it for free. LCD monitors, tv's, and personal organizers use the same type of movie to unstick the pixels on their screens too. all of the mess that the other guy was talking about on my review section does not know what he's talking about because he does not own a PSP, i do. so i hope you buy a PSP, and i have no problem helping you with anything you need to know how to do on the PSP, and i will gladly help you with any questions about it, i have extesively researched, and learned everything there is to almost possibly comprehend about this beautiful portable system, and i know what im talking about.

The Microsoft Xbox Is A Very Powerful Console, But
The Microsoft XBox is a very powerful console, but it is large; the games are more expensive than PlayStation 2 games, and the choice just isn't as good. The music feature is good as you can use it as a jukebox on your television! (note: to get visualisations, press X, Y, X quickly on the track menu). It is very fast though, but it isn't portable enough to be able to take it to a mates house.

Microsoft Xbox Is The Better Out Of The Three Game
Microsoft Xbox is the better out of the three games consoles of it's generation. The graphics are better and it doesn't crash as much as the Playstation 2 (from experience) it has some great games and many are exclusive to the Xbox so this means they are purpose built for it and are alot better. There aren't any games for the PS2 that are exclusive that I can think of. The Grand Theft Auto games were exclusive until they then came out on the xbox which was good. The online play is a lot quicker and better on xbox live than the online play of the playstation and there are many features like voice communication in every game and friends lists where you can see if anybody is online and invite them into your games or join there games. Another reason what makes the xbox the best is HALO 2 it is such a good game and at the moment there is nothing that can beat it. (except for Halo 3).

I Owned The Ps2 And The X Box. I Ended Up Trading
I owned the PS2 and the X box. I ended up trading my PS2 in for an X box. The PS2 was a good system but it didn't seem to be built solid enough for me. The PS2 slim got very hot when played which was not a good sign for me. To me, that much heat being given off is not a good thing and could lead to a problem down the road.
The X box on the other hand is a powerhouse (basically a computer in a box). Games load quicker and the graphics are actually better than that of the PS2. I truly believe that the XBOX is better for your money. Sony has led the console wars over the past few years so microsoft had to come out with a kick ass system in order to compete. Sony on the other hand already had a leg up on the competition (PSone) so they really didn't put the effort into making the most solid system(that's my opinion anyways). The XBOX is all about cool and all about power.
As far as games go, the PS2 has the most. X box has the 2nd and the Gamecube comes in third. From what I could gather, the PS2 has a lot of games but many of them are not worth a penny to buy (believe me, I played a lot of them). How many are you really gonna play anyway.
To sum up, I believe that the X box is a better system than the PS2. Also, the under-rated Gamecube is also an excellent system and also has better graphics than the PS2, and it is the cheapest of all three. It has the least amount of games but has a lot of the popular titles (seems to be geared for a younger audience).
X box all the way!
