Ruined My Hair

This is one of the worst hair colorants I have used on my hair. I used it all the whilst it was available and it has ruined my hair. My hair is long and I have noticed over the years that I was using it my hair always broke easily and looks as though it has not been brushed. I hate it. I have seen a hair specialist who told me it was the hair colorant that has caused the breakage. I am in process of seeking legal advice.

Excellent 10 Out Of 10

Very pleased with this product. Quick, easy good colour. I used chocolate brown. Problem I have is finding a shop who sells it! Would thoroughly recommend it! Today picked up a couple in Boots but Superdrug seem to have stopped selling it in store. Likewise Sainsburys.

I agree 100%. I've just coloured my hair today and came out great as usual. I use the same colour...chocolate brown..5.15...and have just found that Boots in my local town dont appear to be restocking this particular L'Oreal product any more.

I hope that L'Oreal are not thinking of discontinuing this item. Any advice?

maybe have to succumb to buying on line in bulk.....???

Patchy, Darker Colour

The colour i picked was supposed to be light amber brown, it has come out the darkest of browns and very patchy. The application is fairly easy although ensure you section your hair or it will miss bits (happened to a friend). it only takes 10 mins which is about as long as it takes to apply, the conditioner is great and my hair is fairly soft. Overall i need to get my hair stripped as its patchy and so dark i look ill.

Wouldn't reccomend it and i'm in the process of complaining to the company to get my money back to put it towards the cost of having my hair stripped. I have used home dyeing kits for around 10 years and this is the worst i've come across so far, my advice is to use the ones that take longer as you're more likely to get the right colour.

Excellent Coverage For Grey Hair

I been dyeing my hair for at list 15 years as i have grey almost all over. i have use saloon type dyes and colours dyes such at loreal excell 10. which to my surprice last year i tried this one in 5.3 chestnut brown and it covers all my grey roots. All other branded dyes i have use in the past dye the grey but fades in one wash to a very paler colour. I have at present dark brown hair. Please note if anyone wants to colour their hair in brown shades you should be looking in the numbers that start at 6, anything below is darker browns that almost look black. For eg, i use to alway go for brown no 4 in every branded dye and my hair would look black.

Not As Easy To Time! 10 Mins Is Stupid!

I tried this excell 10 as I like every female hates the job of dying your own hair and the time it takes but when hair stylists charge £80 plus what choice do you have?

I had used paris excellence which took longer but was brilliant!

This time - took the 10min one but in honesty - anyone that can do their roots plus dyed shoulder length longer growth which has been coloured before within 5 mins per 2 differentsections should be a hairdresser theirselves!!

As a result - despite following the instructions to the letter I found the whole process stressfull as had too much hair to complete their wants for a perfect result within 10mins!

The end result is - like they warn! darker hair than expected - condition is soft and cannot complain about that! Colour is also even except on tips BUT IT DOES NOT COVER GREY STRANDS!

I will use loreal again but not this so called QUICK ONE!

I Used To Have Platinum Blonde Hair..i Used Number

i used to have platinum blonde hair..i used number 7 natural dark blonde..i used this as a temporary colour because i didnt want to go from platinum blonde hair to a dark brown/red colour in just one go.

As soon as i put on the dye it started turning a light brown.

my hair is now a light "mousy" brown.

this product is good if you want to darken your hair fast but not good if you want to go the specific colour on the box.

I've Been Trying For Ages To Find A Natural Brown

I've been trying for ages to find a natural brown hair colour, over the counter, which has staying power. Stumbled across Excell 10 Natural Brown and gave it a try. It turned out a little darker than expected, but to be fair, the packet did forewarn if you leave it in longer than 10 mins, which I did. Coverage was excellent, and after a week or so (I wash my hair daily) the colour settled to a perfect natural brown, with no dreaded red or gold highlights. The result is much better than expected and has lasted about 5 weeks so far. I have purchased again and this time will try a shorter developing time to gain the perfect colour :)

I Used Loreal Excell 10, It Was The First Time Dyi

I used loreal excell 10, it was the first time dying my hair from my natural dark blonde hair colour to a Brown 5.0. it worked really well, i was in a bit of a rush to apply it as i heard the longer you leave it in the darker it goes (which is true). It turend out to be a bit darker than what the packet said but i really like it and would def use it again.

I Have Been Using This Product For About 2 Years N

I have been using this product for about 2 years now. It has never let me down. It does what it says on the box, covers the grey in my usually brown hair to a very natural shade of medium brown. Most people I know don't even realise that I dye my hair! It only takes 10 minutes and is very easy to use. It is a little more expensive than other brands, but it's usually on special somewhere, so I stock up if it's on offer for a good price.

I Was Dyeing My Hair For The First Time And Becaus

I was dyeing my hair for the first time and because i would look cat(horrible) with black or blond(e?) hair i opted for a nice shade of red. . . I bought L'Oreal Excell 10 in shade 5.56(Cherry Red) and was dying it in a sink in a pub for charity. It was really easy to mix and apply and after i dried my hair i didnt really notice a difference for a bit(this was either it developing further or bad lighting)

i thought it was great! colour came out brilliant. just as it was on the box(like the colour chart for dark brown hair..not the model)..

i would recommend it if u hav like dark brown hair but not really black cause i dunno if it would work...
