2008 Mercedes-benz Clk 350

I bought my 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK 350 last year (2012). I live here in Anchorage, Alaska. The vehicle was shipped to the State of Alaska from a dealership in California and a Nisan dealership in Anchorage, Alaska bought the vehicle. It was from the Nisan dealership here in Anchorage, Alaska, where I purchased the vehicle. When I bought it, it had only 13,000 miles on it. Today it has approximately 14,500 miles on it. Due to the very long, cold winters here, I store my vehicle during our long winters.

I paid $35,000 for this vehicle from the Nisan dealership here in Anchorage, Alaska. I love driving it. However because I am 6 foot, 3 inches, and 255 pounds, getting in and out of the vehicle can be quite difficult. Driving this vehicle is fun. I love the vehicle. One thing is it is not good at all for any winter driving because it being rear wheel drive. This is my summer car. My wife tells me it is my mid-life crisis car. It is a real joy driving it...but if your a big guy, like I said, getting in the vehicle and getting out of the vehicle can be difficult.

Love This Car

even though its 12 years old youd think it was made only a couple of years ago, well built, smooth and fantastic good looks, good on fuel too. I wont go back to holden or ford after this. This type of car must be pampered though. I consider it a hobby car. Half the fun is in the detail, after all the whole purpose of a car like this is the impact on all those who see it.

I Bought My 320 With An Lpg Conversion. This Mean

I bought my 320 with an LPG conversion. This means I get the equivelant of about 45mpg on cost.

Having all that oomph, the great V6 sound and getting economy is great. The LPG tank in the boot still allows enought room for a travelling family of 4, suitcases and all so I can only imagine its a huge boot without the LPG conversion.

Its also luxurious. Although a decade old it has every extra (Avantgarde model) including S class seats, auto windscreen, zenons, electrics all round, auto diming trear view, parkimng sensors fornt and rear.

The only negative is the driving experience isnt quite what I've had in the past with my Alfa's and BMW's. Its a bit soft in the corners. I can live with this though becuase the overall value of the car is terrific.

I Did My Apprenticeship As A Motor Mechanic In The

I did my apprenticeship as a motor mechanic in the early 80's, taught by real mechanics....and I since then have owned Vw's, Audi's, Saab's, Bm's and more than I can remember, but the Mercedes Benz CLK 320....well, even though it 's a bit older than I'm used to, what a car...Wont buy anything else now other than a Mercedes....But I love the styling of this one (208)...classic...I'll keep , restore and love this one....if ya can get one...Buy It!!!!

Wheel Arches - Big Problem. Try And Find A Good On

Wheel arches - big problem. Try and find a good one! Reliable - so far (after 2 yrs). Problem with 'squell from front nearside wheel' don't know what problem is, nor does Mercedes, nor does anybody else or garage! Beware, wheel arches will rust - 'bigstyle!

I Was Looking For Ages For A Merc 320 Or A Bmw 535

I was looking for ages for a Merc 320 or a BMW 535. I found mine in Feb 08. It's a 1998 model and had done 20K miles (genuine! with full service history). If you are interested in a 320 then you need to have a test drive. You will not be disappointed. Mine is the Elegance with all the extras.
