Had Yet An Other Stay At The Seray And Found That
Had yet an other stay at the Seray and found that things were as good if not better this time. Special thanks to Sezen for ordering gluten free products for my wife's use and she received her order very quickly.

Gumbet, Seray Hotel - We Have Just Come Back From
Gumbet, Seray Hotel - We have just come back from staying in the Seray Hotel yet again and found once more that the hotel is extremely well-run. Very clean, food excellent in fact our best meals were eaten there, and the staff are very friendly and polite. We will be going back again in October and already are looking forward to it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Seray and hope you have an excellent season!

Unfortuantely We Stayed In A Hotel Close By And Di
Unfortuantely we stayed in a hotel close by and discovered this hotel on the first morning whilst looking for a place to eat breakfast. My only regret is that we were not staying there. We were shown around the rooms which are very nice.
This hotel is close to the beach and nightlife. The taxi rank is just opposite. I have been to Turkey 5 times this is definately the best hotel in this category. This hotel is very professionally run by Adem the manager.

I Stayed In The Seray Hotel Only 2 Weeks Ago(june
I stayed in the Seray Hotel only 2 weeks ago(june 03) and it was the best holiday I have ever had. The staff in the hotel were all so friendly especially Adam the hotel manager. The nightlife was amazing and me and my mates were out evry night til 5 and 6 in the morning having the time of our lives! We met many new friends that work over there and are looking forward to going back next summer after college.

Turkey Is An Amazing Country, There Are No Down Si
Turkey is an amazing country, there are no down sides to it! i have went to Gumbet in Turkey for the past 2 years(summer 01 and summer 02)and i will be lying in the sun of Gumbet in 1 month(summer 03),even though i have stayed in different places around Gumbet myself and my family have spent most of our long nights in the Seray Hotel and have always been welcomed by the friendly staff Adem, Tiger and co. Nightlife around Gumbet is great for all ages, but my favourite place would be the shamrock as i love all the staff. overall i can just say it is the best place to be.
Great review I am looking forward to going next week the place looks amazing! and the beach's look great 2

My Family And I Went To The Seray Last May 2002. W
My family and I went to the seray last may 2002. We had a fantastic time. It was my daughters 1st Birthday while we were there and the Hotel helped us celebrate her Birthday in their resturant. They even arranged a cake with sparklers on and they all sang happy Birthday. We are going back again in May.

Gumbet Is A Great Resort For Families Or Any Other
Gumbet is a great resort for families or any other group. Be prepared to be 'persuaded' by shopkeepers to come in and look at their goods - the whiter you are the more they try. Its very cheap, but be prepare to barter - offer about 50% of the asking price and work up a bit.
If it's clubbing you're after, the biggest nightclub in Europe is just in the next town!!! There are some great bars and clubs in town though - the main street is known as Bar Street, and for good reason. For a great night of family entertainment, go to the Talk of The Town, the best drag show I have ever seen. They are all British lads, and they will have you crying with laughter. But be warned, it finishes late for little kids.
Don't miss out on a visit to the Barbers - you've never seen anything like it. The fellas all agree it's a great shave, and even the ladies get looked after. We visited a few, but the best was Ebo. You can find him behind the Angus Steak House off Bar Street.
The Seray hotel was highly rated even by locals. The food was as good as the more expensive restaurants but more reasonably priced, and in many cases, better quality. Excellent selection for kids and grown ups. It's very close to the beach and the town center.
The head barman, Tiger as he likes to be known, is as good as Tom Cruise in the movie "Cocktail". Adam is brilliant the restaurant manager, very good with kids and adults. His favorite phrase is "anything is possible", and you will soon believe it. He appreciates English food and drink - especially HP sauce, Bisto gravy, Tetley T-bags (and Brandy), which are very expensive in Turkey. So if you have some spare room in your case on the way out .
Forget booking through an agent, save time and a lot of money by calling the hotel direct. They will collect you from the airport and recommend cheap flights. I wish I had known that before I booked J but I know for next time.
Don't worry about changing your money before you go, everywhere accepts English money. You get your change converted into Turkish Lira at the going rate.

I visited Gumbet in June this year for the first time staying at the magnific hotel, had a brilliant time and with a 6yr old daughter who was the centre of attention from all the local people. Returned in August and October as it was so good. Busy booking the seray hotel for 2003.
very cheap, very clean and lots to see and do.
by far one of the best places I have been to.
I went to Gumbet this year 02 and I found the turkish are really nice people. They like to look after u and it's a very clean place. Night life is great. I've been to a lot of places but Turkey is the best resort so far, I will be back year '03
Big up to all the bars & night clubs! keep it up Gumbet.
