Ron's company have moved us several times over the years - the first time he moved us there was no internet to write a review. However, I wanted to take the chance to write one now I can (albeit a few years after he moved us the last time). He is without doubt the best removal company we have ever used (we've moved 7 times; 3 of which Ron did for us, the others he couldn't as we were abroad). His staff were always polite but very hard working and took extreme care of our possessions. I never had to put any extra wrapping on precious items as I knew he'd look after them for us. We are back in the UK now and about to move house and I will be asking him to do the move for us. I would recommend Ron and his team without reservation.

Yet again the best service you can imagine. This time, the team was moving my elderly parents from the only home they've ever known together. You can imagine their stress! Everyone was friendly and attentive to their requirements. Remaining patient and efficient throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. We did shop around their end but in the end Ron's quote was very reasonable. We went with them with the confidence that their service would be priceless. They excelled even our high expectations. Thank you so very much. If you're fretting about insurance. Don't worry. We've had no problems. But as others have said, if there is ever anything, it gets sorted.

Ron Grants company arrived prompt, cheerful helpful and ready to work and boy did they work, it was a hot day they moved us from Rutland to Lincolnshire.

Nothing appeared to be much trouble for them, (even when I changed my mind) included in our move were some heavy pieces of furniture and a great number of boxes, they were professional in there approach and manner and careful with our belongings

Ron called in that morning to check everything was okey (don't see many bosses do that now a days the personal touch!).

A great service from Ron's family business. The team were courteous throughout the job, especially with my elderly parents, and he guys had a straightforward and efficient approach whilst taking the time to listen to any special requirements we had, for example for fragile items. This made the daunting obstacle of making home an easy task!

Following the move, my elderly father mistakenly believed that his TV was not working and blamed the move, and I called Ron to inform him. He was round straight away to take the TV to an engineers, but on arrival he investigated the issue first and we realised that one of his team had (rightly) flicked the off switch during transit. Problem solved, and service with a smile!

I cannot recommend the team highly enough and would certainly use them again.

I can't say enough good things about Ron and his team. They packed our 2nd floor 2 bed flat (complete with family antiques, and a reference library) up in about 5 hours flat! Everything was carefully wrapped in paper or bubble and safely packed- fast and efficient, they sped through all the packing and loading, with nary a break or chip in anything. I work in a museum and am paranoid about packing- they were great! One thing- keep the boys supplied with tea and they can work miracles!

We first used this company when we moved our home and business in 2002, since then we have changed business premises twice and have used Ron Grant again both times. We always found Ron and his staff to be very couteous and friendly and more importantly 'careful', everything was very well organised and ran like clockwork with no hassles, which reduced the stress for us no end. It is a rare treat to find a company that has old fashioned values with modern methods and efficiency that when combined provides excellent value for money.

A remarkable removal company. The cheapest of the quotes (which worried us) but we needn't have been concerned. Courteous, efficient, honest and incredibly hard-working (they had to double handle all of our stuff because of access problems). Nothing was broken. DON'T be put off that there is no website or that they don't email very much. ("So Churchill - was Ron Grant's the best removal company you've ever come across - Oh Yes!"). Enough said?

The only thing I would have asked was that they provided details of their insurance cover without my badgering them!
