Overseas/all Buyers Beware!
Bought/shipped two Defenders To USA based on the dealers listing description! For one of them the listing description was so far from accurate! Dealer listing stated good tire condition, excellent bodywork and drives great! Tires completely dry rotted, track rod bent, so much play in steering wheel it’s unsafe! Some rear lights don’t work! Has a transmission problem, some grinding noise and pops out of 1st and 2nd gear, quoted hear in USA $3000-4000 to rebuild transmission! Bodywork is a joke, 15-20 dents in the hood, side window not fitted correctly, rivets didn’t even go through the body panel! Paint overspray all over! Pinholes in bodywork possibly from body filler, seals fitted poorly, leaking sunroof, cracked windshield, door handle doesn’t work. I asked for more pics but the dealers pics certainly only shows good parts, not the bad! Dealer offered to help with tires and track rod to try prevent me from writing an honest review! I’d rather warn other people! BEWARE!

I was forced to get a refund from my credit card company, under section 75, The Defender, with a new mot, received a prohibition notice within 3 weeks of purchase. There was a long list of faults. Walton Motors insisted via their solicitor it was in good condition. The Driving Standards Agency thought different. Also the 12 month full warranty was caped at £300? You've been warned.

i purchased my first defender from these guys 22/08/2017. great bunch of guys and went out of there way to help me.i have been wanting one for a long time. it needed a bit of work before i could collect.. but i.m well impressed and love it. i would reccommend to anyone and good prices.they put new back seats in .front and rear seat belts and lots of other extras without adding to the price.

Don't Touch With A Barge Pole
I bought my 90 from these people. It had an MOT but when I got it hone I found all four tyres were MOT failures and dangerous. I had to threaten legal action before they paid for the new tyres. When the alternator went I discovered that the warranty they issued was worthless, they hadn't paid the premium. I sent them a registered letter telling them I had instigated legal action, so they paid up. I did the same when the water pump went. Without the threat of legal action they ignored me. I note have since been convicted for offering non existent warranties. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Well, on first appearances Walton Motors seemed to be a lovely family run company with a speciality in Land Rovers. They had a lovely belt selection of motors for sale.
We decided to buy one what would be MOT'd and serviced. So we were happy with that. If only we'd done some research into the owners instead of the cars!
In less than a couple of months we've had to replace the whole clutch and the cost of nearly £1000! They couldn't give a damn!
STEER CLEAR potential buyers! They've already been convicted of falsely selling vehicles. Don't let them fool you as they are nice as pie all the time they're trying to sell you something, then don't want to know once you've driven it out of their garage.

Glad I Found These Guys!
I've wanted a Land Rover Discovery 2 for ages and searched on Auto Trader. Walton Motors, although an hour and a quarter drive from us, appealed to me because they seemed to specialise in Land Rovers and were a family-run business.
They were friendly, obliging and I got a deal I was really happy with, trading in my Freelander and getting an honest price on a decent Discovery 2.
We'd done our homework and were aware of common problems on Discos and when ours developed a minor problem after purchase, Walton Motors couldn't have done enough to rectify it. In the short time they had it to fix the problem, they even washed and valeted it, which was really appreciated!
They even went beyond the call of duty to help us source the fixings for a dog guard we'd bought on ebay that was missing 2 small parts. Now that's what I call customer service.
They are totally honest, have their vehicles MOTed by a third party and don't try to hide anything. They're happy to show all the paperwork associated with each vehicle, warts and all. Even though it will be quite a few years before I replace my Disco, I will return to Walton Motors and I would recommend anyone looking for a 4x4, especially Land Rovers, to go to Walton Motors. They know their stuff.

Bought Defender 90 In July This Year And Received
Bought Defender 90 in July this year and received 24 months warranty, clucth went Thursday 4/11/16 / took it to local garage who needed information on contacting Walton Motors. They tried All day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday left messages on answer machine and still no further forward. Started proceedings now with Trading Standards and Small Claims Court today. Ex Cole Miner and have worked hard from money I had saved and one way or other I will see my day with them.
Keep well away you have been warned.

I called to enquire about the hand car wash they advertise and was informed that it was £14 for inside and out or £7 for outside only and that they are open until 17.30. I thought this to be a reasonable price so decided it would be worth the 7 mile trip from my home. I arrived at 17.15, they were washing just 1 vehicle in front of me, but as I approached I was waved away saying we are closed, I asked why, the chap said we have had a busy day! I explained that I had called, he said I am not the boss! I explained again that I had called the company before deciding to drive over and was told it was open until 17.30 and it was only now 17.15, again was told they had had a busy day, I was very annoyed and asked if he could speak to the boss, he did speak and again was told we can't wash your car. DO NOT USE!!

Bought discovery 3 from waltons 12 month warranty included (WORTH NOTHING).
Major leak into cabin ( needed new windscreen) Air compressor failure. Parking sensors not working. Radio SatNav stopped working. Bad noise from transimission. All should be covered under warranty. No one returns my calls. I've constantly rung since I bought the car in June.
STAY AWAY!!!!!
