I happily return to this hotel every year. Welcoming staff, the rooms are functional , air conditioning, TV with TV5 Monde Asie, large fridge, balcony, comfortable bedding.
The rooms overlooking the pool are quiet. View of the city.

I had planned holidays with my family in Phuket and on advice of my friends got deluxe rooms booked in Merlin Beach Resort. This place is marvelous. We had the best holiday and this place was just perfect for anyone who wants to append vacations being close to the nature. This resort is 10 minutes rive away from main city and has three pools. Family’s area is separated from those who are single or couples so that noise does not disturb anyone else. Rooms were neat and tidy and had all the basic amenities so ensure a comfortable night. Breakfast was moderate.

Where Booking For 9 Nights After 1 Night Reception
where Booking for 9 Nights after 1 Night reception complain where noise with TV only wehre never Start the TV. After 2 Nights where like to Check out the Hotel Noise from the Doors to the Rooms. She no give as back the Money and only the Deposit. The Staff ath the Frontdesk is not friendly. Rooms OK

cant make out what your problem was , you need spell check , i visited some friends who were staying there , got a tour of the place and have booked myself in for my next visit. WHY do people leave cash in there rooms and then moan when it goes missing ?Hotel Value for money ? it looks OK to me and i should know . take your own lock for the safety box and get a travel kettle then go chill out at the pool.
I stayed here in October .I do not agree with the comments above. I stay here because everyone very friendly. Internet can play at the lobby area. Beautiful place, I like the atmosphere of the pool. Rooms are clean. Everyone is friendly. I'm happy to be living here and I'll be back to stay again in April 2011(water festival at pattaya).

Large clean and well appointed rooms...only lacking in tea/coffee facilities. Good size swimming pool, however as the hotel was just finished there is still a lot of rubble lying around the edges...no doubt this will be removed shortly.
Rates start at 1200 per night, but discounted easily to 750/800.
Pleasant enough reception/bar area...food simple and cheap, but then you are only 50mts away from many bars/restaurants.
150 mt walk will find you on 2nd road...malls, cinemas etc.
