"high Quality Brand"
The Dell Inspiron 2650 is very powerful, the touchpad works efficiently, good battery life, decent features and also great for gaming, and I highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a computer of good quality.

I Bought Adell Inspiron In 2003 To Write My Thesis
I bought aDell Inspiron in 2003 to write my thesis; it's 2009 and my computer is still performing well. Battery life does "suck" fom the beginning. And I now need more memory but this computer has served me well.

Have owned my Dell Inspiron 2650 since 2002. Has been extremely reliable with no issues, except the OEM Dell battery it came with. Replaced it with a generic battery about 2 years ago that runs amazing. Very durable and well-made laptop overall. Major limitation is the maximum 384MB of RAM that I was able to upgrade it to.

This Dell Inspiron 2650 laptop is durable.
Heavy and runs pretty hot. Battery life is very low.
No problems after 5 years.
I use this computer for internet. Has both CD and floppy drive. Old tech, but good for small kids since its tough.

I Have Had My Inspiron 2650 For Nearly Five Years
I have had my Inspiron 2650 for nearly five years now. I received it as a graduation gift and have been more than happy with it. I had a bit of trouble two years ago and had to reinstall Window , but the problems I was having were due to a virus- my fault, not the computer's. I would definately recommend to someone needing a basic laptop. I would recommend upgrading the RAM from 256 mb- it made a world of difference for me and was very easy to do.

Thank God There Are Other Laptops Out There To Use
Thank god there are other laptops out there to use. I won't recommend anyone get the Dell Inspiron 2650 UNLESS they have the means to replace it. The battery lasts only 15 minutes, and won't hold a charge for longer than that.

The First Laptop I Owned, I Bought The Dell Inspir
The first laptop I owned, I bought the Dell Inspiron 2650 in Dec of 2002 and am selling it in May of 2006, did not have one problem with it, I am in the military and believe me when I say it has been all over the world. Great laptop I did no upgrades and replaced nothing. Once again this laptop has more miles on it than I can explain and on top of it all it looks brand new still. All in all it just depends on how well you take care of your stuff.

I've Had This Laptop Maybe 3 Or 4 Years. After One
I've had this laptop maybe 3 or 4 years. After one year of owning the Inspiron 2650 the power cord got really messed up and twisted on the inside and so the wires were frayed. I wasn't able to find a new cord on Dell's site so I had to buy it from some other website. That lasted me about another year. But then where I inserted the cord I guess got loose. We tried to get it fixed at a local place. That was a bad idea and waste of money. Within a month it was loose again and we had to send it in. It lasted a few months but then I began getting the same warning signs that I had gotten before with the other problems. I left it on too long, I guess(not even 12hrs), and it started buzzing and some hot liquid/plastic stuff started coming out of either the cord or where I put in the cord. I can turn it on but the power will probably run out in less than 5 minutes and I can't charge it. I don't recommend this laptop. I'm staying away from Dell.

I've Had The Dell Inspiron 2650 Laptop Computer Fo
I've had the Dell Inspiron 2650 laptop computer for about 2 years. It is my third and last Dell. The power cord is having to be replaced for the third time, and I've had to have the motherboard and the CD player replaced, despite no heavy use or abuse. Thankfully they were covered by the three year warranty. The latest cord is not, and Inspiron 2650 didn't even show up in the parts list at Dell. Myself and my daughter have spent hours trying to get assistance from the support service, which is now routed through India. Lots of long waits and transfers etc...
