Philips Lumea - I Researched Ipl Hair Removal Syst
Philips LUMEA - I researched IPL hair removal systems on the net and this new one by Philips came up with the best reviews. At £400 they are not cheap but in the effort of long term hair removal (cost of waxing etc) well worth it.
They work on Intense Pulsed Light and after shaving you "zap" areas where you want hair removing. It does not hurt - on the highest setting a little like a pin (no more) - not as painful as waxing or epilating. You do this every 2 weeks at first then every month to maintain. I have only used this on my bikini line and underarms as the hair on my legs is too blonde/fine. So far am very impressed - no more ingrown hairs as well which is a huge bonus! Would recommend if you have problems with ingrown hairs and are looking for a long term hair removal solution. You do have to keep up with it though otherwise the hair will return.
I do like the idea of it because getting it done at a hair removal clinic can cost £100 per body part!
Would cost loads to get everything done, may as well buy the laser and do it as often as you need it (especially since Argos are now selling these for under £300, I might just give it a go!)
Hello, I'm thinking of getting one of these.
Please could you tell me if the hairs grow back finer and fewer every time?
