Ameda Lactaline Breast Pump

Fine / Great ... ( as per other reviews here ) . Regarding that "Bad point" ... the noise , ... the Ameda Lactaline pump is not particularly noisy. ... just a gentle whirr. Not as loud as a printer. It works ... it does what it's supposed to do.

I used the pump with both my children. In general, I was quite happy with the pump, and would buy it again. It is easy to use, and quite effective.

I used this pump daily from the day after my son was born. Having used the Medela pump before, which worked reasonably well, had travelled with me and withstood all kinds of bumps, drops and intensive used, I had imagined that the Ameda Lactaline Breast Pump might be even better because it is a double pump. However, in practice, although the pump was reasonably good for extraction, I found it to be quite poor for sturdiness, practicality (in my particular case), and for the reliability of the component parts.

Although it 'does the job' and has good controls for speed and power, I would not recommend it, as it is quite expensive compared to other pumps, and overall the parts are quite flimsy.

Great....Great..... Great. The Ameda Lactaline Breast Pump was a life saver, my baby went to SCBU, with low glucose. They need to get him fed from day 1, they couldn't wait on my milk so had to use formula, so breast feeding went out the window. This machine was the help I needed to give my baby natures best, in a bottle. It was quiet and with two pumps quick, which in the early hours is invaluable. I hope this helps

Ameda Lactaline Breast Pump: I was very happy with this pump. It was pretty comfortable and easy to get the hang of.
