Ignorant Loud Flight Attendant On Flight 1917

It was early in the morning and this flight attendant was so loud and stating that folks shouldn't move others bags . She seemed very cocky and personally I do not think she works well with the public . She seemed very rough around the edges. I was a flight attendant for years with another airline and if we ever acted the way she does we would not of had a job!

She just acted like she knew it all. Yuck I actually got a headache from her

Worst Travel Experience Ever

We just flew to Rome and back from Rome on US Airways. WORST EXPERINCE EVER and I have flown a lot. Flight from Denver to Charlotte was fine. But from Charlotte to ROme, we got out over the ocean and they announced ai conditioner wasn't working on one side, so they flew us to Philly. Eventually they pulled a plane out of a hangar and cut 20 people-- and then EVENTUALLY reloaded us-- in pretty random seating and we got underway-- with one woman cut from first class screaming bloody murder. Their was very little clear communication as we sat on the broken plane, milled around inside the Philly terminal and then sat on the new plane. We were SIX hours late arriving in Rome.

THEN on our way back, our flight was first delayed an hour-- then three to four more hours-- cos of a broken door that needed to be fixed before we could fly. We barely made our connecting flight in Charlotte-- though we did despite misdirection at the Charlotte airport on where we should go and what we should do.

My thing is-- do they not do regular maintenance of their planes-- do they not check them BEFORE loading passengers. BOTH delays we caused by equipment issues.

Also-- the delay on the flight cost us money for a pre-paid walking tour we missed and couldn't get our money back on.

What A Joke!

US Airways cancels our flight and did nothing to help us reschedule our flight or get lodging even though it was their mechanical issue. We waited on the plane for 4 hours and had to find out from passengers that had de-planed and heard from the gate that the flight was being cancelled. When we asked how to go about getting re-scheduled, the Gate Agents were rude and refused to answer any questions. We were handed a card that had their reservation number on it and we had to figure out how to get home just as if we were scheduling a flight for a trip, no special considerations given. They wouldn't even give us a voucher for a hotel. I will NEVER fly US Airways ever again.

Poor Service Reps

WE checked in online and got to the gate they gave away our seats prior to the 10 minute rule they have,then were told that we are on standby then 3 flights later we got on a flight to our families funeral.I asked the gate manager how you could give away our seats no response just go sit down.Of course that led to more problems when we got to charlotte where everybody transfers to other planes and runs through the airport which creates panic for all ,bumping,hitting,rudeness overall poor flight .NEVER will i fly this airline. future flyers with this airline need to know that they can give your seat away 30 minutes prior to boarding if they call your name and you do not respond.

Trip Cancelation

I had to cancel my flight and the airline will not refund me. According to their customer service agent they can't because they are a business and in business to make money. When I told her I get the feeling she's taking this personally she said it is personal Because of profit sharing you are asking for money out of my pocket"!!! This was appalling to me. Her supervisor said " I am not sure of the context of what she said"!!!! What have we been reduced to? Airlines are in the business of thievery and becoming rich by ripping people off? Aren't they in business to provide a service and get paid once the service is provided? When you talk to them on the phone is like you are talking to a robot. These people are ruthless. They do not give a sh**you didn't use their services they are in business to keep your money unfairly because they are allowed to come up with redicuolus policies like this. The sad thing is, we are the sheep that will never be able to do anything about it. The people who keep them in business are the least protected in this matter. I would rather drive all over the place then even think about supporting s-c-u-m like this ever again. I hope people who are profiting from my hard earned money, unfairly, choke on their own spit!!

Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was nothing to like about this flight experience other than my destination because it was for leisure. When I returned back from my vacation; my bag was not on my flight. I went out of the country. I was told my luggage never left the aiport with my departure. So I am thousands of miles away; get in on a late flight and waiting to receive my bag and did not get it. The airline advised me it was a mistake my by the airport I left for departure. BIG BIG mistake!!!!! If there was a mistake made at the airport, do you or do you not still all work for the same airline?? The luggage was located by the ticket number and i was then told, it will be here sometime this week. SOMETIME; what??? Not sure of the day, I did not receive exact time, day, etc. I was told it may be this week because it was an international flight. I then was asked to give personal infromation . The representative for the airline said would you like to have delivered or are you going to come to the airport to pick up. Why was this even a question??? I should have been immediately set up for delivery. Once the luggage has arrived at the airport; I receive a phone call that the luggage is here and the delivery service is not working; when can I come and pick up??? By this time I have gone several days with no luggage and personal belongings in another country, and it seems to be an inconvenience for the airline that my luggage did not arrive as it should. I arrive to pick up my luggage and they could not locate for another 30 minutes. After getting my bag back; items were missing. I called to voice my concern to a supervisor with the airline and I was told that I would need to contact my local airport and file a claim. WOW!!!! The thing that bothers me the most is that the mishap that happened became my fault and no one wanted to accept resposiblity for that. Not only that; no one even attempted to compensate me for anything. I will never ever FLY with this airline again. They are the worst airline ever! Do not use this airline, because they do not value their customers!!!

Stuck At Oaj For Two Extra Days!!!!!

Because it took the airline SO LONG to finally cancel our flight (well after flights that were supposed to take off after ours had been cancelled) we ended up being stranded in Jacksonville unable to return home until Sunday 6/21/2015. All other flights departing the next day had already been totally booked because all flights AFTER OURS were cancelled before ours!!! There were no rental cars available or we would have driven to another city to fly out. Also, because there were no rentals we had to pay for taxi service to and from a hotel (which we also had to pay for out of our own pockets), etc. during our unplanned stay...of TWO EXTRA DAYS. I realize the delay was caused by the weather, BUT considering it was the airline that "forgot" to cancel our flight until all others had been cancelled, causing all other departures to be fully booked, I would have expected some type of compensation since the additional delay of our departure was so significant. Not only did we miss several events because we were not able to return home on time, we were also out the expense of hotel rooms, meals, and transportation while in Jacksonville....just waiting to finally be able to return home. I would think the airline in a sign of good faith would at least have the decency to throw some free flight vouchers our way. At this point as it stands nothing has been offered. This will be posted as a review on ever site I can find so others will be aware of the customer service to be expected.

The Worst

US AIRWAYS you should be ashamed of yourselves. Customer service was awful..useless at best. This airline lies to people using the "bad weather" excuse for their delayed flights as if there's no way to check for weather information. They give away a pink voucher for a hotel (after they screw you over) with a phone number and when you call, they tell you that there are no more rooms available. The manager far from helping the customers, told them "write your complaint on the back of your ticket" then called security and walked away! WAY TO DO BUSINESS US AIRWAYS/AMERICAN AIRLINES!! I will never fly with them again AND will alert everyone of the way american airlines and their affiliates treats their customers.

How Difficult Is Communicating . . .

We flew on US Airlines Express (DCA) which meant an exit out to a bus for a ride to the plane. It was extremely warm in DC 97 degrees. The air was on in the bus but the doors were left open so the exhaust from the bus and hot air mixed with 30 plus people "standing" for over 20-25 minutes were extreme. There was not a bus driver during this time period and the bus engine shut down (which meant no air). Although this was brief, it added to the tenseness of the situation. Then, finally a driver appears, doors are closed and we are on the move . . although very brief. We now have stopped with a bus in front of us. After a few minutes, an automated message comes on that says "you will be delivered to your plane shortly" or something to that effect. Once again we are all left to wait "standing" on a bus that is getting warmer by the minute (yes there was air conditioning -- however, it was uncomfortable). Another 20 minutes go by without a word from anyone. The bus driver is in her own section --there is a separate glass compartment -- you cannot talk to her. Also there are signs that says "no one can get off the bus except for emergencies". It would have been nice if SOMEONE could have told us something. The plane was scheduled to take off at 3:10 PM and at 3:10 PM we were still on the bus. However, after we got on the plane, the pilot announced "thank you for your patience, we had a little problem with a broken seat. That is now fixed and we will be on our way." It would have been very helpful just for someone to say to everyone standing in a hot bus why we were waiting. At least we would know there was an end in sight. Some were becoming a little agitated which caused me great concern. Then, we had quite a delay on the runway. I assume since the plane was late taking off, that put us behind many flights to take off. I have flow Delta many times. Pilots will announce that "we are 7th for take off" or whatever. At least they keep you in the know. We will probably avoid US Air in the future.

They Wont Answer The Phone

im trying now for 3 days to talk to someone at usair hold time at least 30 minutes, I even went to the airport no one home . maybe they are out of business, maybe they should be!
