Quality, 49,000 Miles, Lots Of Tread Remaining.
Quality product that has performed and after 49,000 miles still has 4m tread remaining (1.6 is legal limit). Fitted 2 Firestones and 2 Michelins at the same time, and after 49,000 miles (and being swapped from front to REAR) both Firestones have even more tread than the Michelins !
Am looking to change for new now, but on current usage these tyres would get to 55,000 miles and beyond and still be legal !

Ok in the dry but scary in the wet. They seem to be very twitchy if you hit a white line in the centre of the road whether fast or slow. I will put up with them until they wear down but then its definitely another brand.
I am using my TZ200 in the Cape winter and find them solid as a rock on the white line with my Merc C180. I suggest you look at your braking system for the twitch. These tyres are wisper quite and smooth . They have improved the ride of my car.

I've Found These Firestone Firehawk Tz 200 Fuel Sa
I've found these Firestone Firehawk TZ 200 Fuel Saver to be really hard wearing tyres. I bought them because they were fuel saver tyres and they have done just that. I've had 40,000 miles out of them so I definately buy them again.

I'm Actually Going To Replace These In The Next Fe
I'm actually going to replace these in the next few months, they won't have lasted 5000 miles. I don't trust them, and will never buy again.

My Milage Is Over 3 Times The Average Of 10,000 Pe
My milage is over 3 times the average of 10,000 per year, so, as you would expect, I do go through tyres at a fair rate. I first inherited the Firestone Firehawk TZ200 tyres on a vehicle purchased from a local VW specialist. They said that they have fitted these tyres to all manner of VAG vehicles, from small petrol runabouts to Audi 4.0 A8's, and said that they have never had a complaint. I can see why! Great all round grip, wet, dry, hot or cold, same as my German cars, they just get on with it. Very long lasting, no cracking nonsense, and they are pleasingly quiet on long distance continental touring runs with large caravan. I recently replaced my VW with a BMW E39 diesel, which was fitted with worn Uniroyals at the front, and semi worn Falken at the back. Both no good, and downright pathetic in the wet with rear wheel drive. Replaced the whole set with Firestone Firehawks, instant difference, and amusingly, due to lower rolling resistance, better fuel economy. At £90 for a tank full to last 550 miles or so, the more mpg the better.

I Have A Set Of These Firestone Firehawk Tz 200 Ty
I have a set of these Firestone Firehawk TZ 200 tyres, after only 8K miles and 2 years of CAREFULL driving I have noticed deep cracks on outside of tread, I am a low mileage user but I expected better than this, I'm going back to Michelin tyres which lasted 5 years, would NEVER buy these again.

Inherited These Firestone Firehawk Tz 200 Fuel Sav
Inherited these Firestone Firehawk TZ 200 Fuel Saver Tyres virtually new on an Audi 80 Quattro. Average to good grip in the dry but poor in the wet. 195/65 HR15 spec, no tendancy to tramline at all, no vibration, no need to rebalance through the life of the tyre (just under 40,000 kms).
On the whole, I'd buy again if they did actually save fuel but won't really know that until after I replace them with something else and compare.
