Great company for health insurance india We humans have tendency to think about writing for a company or finding a way to post our frustration online when we are duped or there is a bad service.

Avoid them, they are certainly not the professional company they portray.

They argue amongst each other through their departments claiming that its the other department you need to be talking to, going round in circles.

Very unprofessional company and the under writing of some of their policies isn't as water tight as you are made to believe.

I personally made a switch to Hiscox, more money but far better confidence in cover.

Zurich Insurance PLC is a company that I would most certainly never recommend to a friend or even an enemy. In fact I would not do business with a company that used Zurich Insurance for any of its business insurance (I always check these days). I have never had business insurance with Zurich but my experience with their customer service department over a home and contents insurance policy has convinced me that this is not an organization that I could ever trust. I found them incapable of accepting responsibility for either their own or their sub contractors' actions. Their customer service was truly dreadful.

I recently submitted my healthcare companies malpractice application to Zurich Business Insurance. I used one of their preferred agents. I dealt directly on numerous occassions with them on the phone answering fairly basic questions. They repeatedly asked the same questions that I had already answered. After initially suggesting that they were very keen on my business, subsequently not only failed to respond to emails, missed pre-arranged phone calls and never provided a quote. My broker was very upset as was I since I had wasted quite a bit of my own time and effort.

Zurich provide liability insurance for my local council. My mother in law aged 80 had a fall due to misaligned pavement, fractured her shoulder, bruised her face, and broke her glasses. Although 80, she refused to be termed "old" and just wanted someone else to admit that the fall was not her fault. I submitted a claim that this company mishandled very badly, saying that they had 3 months to reach a decision after receiving a report from the council, when in fact I discovered that under the terms of the protocol covering this type of claim they should have given a decision within a total period of 3 months. Despite the pavement being in excess of 2 inches out of alignment (a requirement) they refused the claim in October, 5 months later than allowed. Mum died the same month precluding us from suing on a no-win-no-fee basis as her testimony would have been required. My family and I will never use the services of the horrible company.

We have insured our office with Zurich Business Insurance of North America for over 10 years. Last month there was a burglary in the building and we filed a claim for $2100. We received a letter 3 days later informing us that our policy was canceled due to risk previously not considered. Not only that, it's been a month since we submitted our claim and they still have not reviewed it. On top of that, the adjustor I've been in contact with is very rude. I won't be surprised at all if they do not pay out. After 10 years of insuring with them, they canceled our policy for a measly $2100 claim (our only claim ever).
