The Overall Engineering & Torsional Strength Say A

The overall engineering & torsional strength say a lot for the designers ability. Uses Ford XR2 mechanical components - no hassle getting mechanical parts. The driving experience is very good, the storage capacity is excellent for a sports car, the boot will hold suitcases etc. with space to spare. Overall a very practical car a strong GRP body, no rust problems here.

I Built My Quantum 2+2 1.6 Convertible Kit Car As

I built my Quantum 2+2 1.6 convertible kit car as a "kit-in-a-box" with everything brand new from the factory - engine, gearbox etc right down to a new key fob! The car looked great in its factory metallic paint and was fun to drive on a sunny day with the hood down, but the steering was very heavy for parking, the roadholding wasn't too brilliant with strong understeer on corners and the ride was spine-jarringly hard until I fitted softer springs and dampers. The performance from the 1.6 CVH engine was okay but it was no road burner and I quickly tired of the whole experience. The XR2 components also proved to be fairly unreliable and troublesome. As a second car bought cheaply for using on the occasional sunny summer day it would be okay, but only if it was built to a very high standard of workmanship and the hard ride had been sorted out.

Does anyone know where I can get a new, or at least a really good Quantum badge, the round one fitted on bonnet? Thanks
