Holiday Park Apartments, Santa Ponsa

I have not stayed in any other hotel in Santa Ponsa but I have been around the world and this is the first time in all my years of traveling that I can say that a hotel is perfect. Members of staff are amazing and the rooms are clean and the whole hotel is beautiful. We are going back!

Good accomodation in Santa Ponsa for families and couples. Entertainment is very funny (in a good way) and rooms and public areas the best.The reception staff are very helpful, food is great and prices not too bad. Highly recommended.

Fantastic welcome was quickly let down by poor customer service, rude staff and ridiculous on the spot fines. Families only unless you are willing to treat the place like a library!! No sheets given for couch bed and towels for 2 people provided despite 4 in apartment. Food in bar was good but one member of staff was particularly rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend and definitely won't be going back!

I can not emphasize how good this hotel was. We had two beautiful apartments room 131 and 132 and we were delighted with the accommodation and the staff. Although the hotel is self catering, we only used the fridge for keeping drinks and milk in because food and drinks were good value for money and who wants to cook on holiday. It seems that the majority of the guests in this hotel have been there many times in the past and that says a lot. The entertainers are hilarious and kept us laughing day and night. Frankie especially was very nice to children and kept them busy with games.

We would really love to go back again.

Santa Ponsa well what can we say!

Did not enjoy our holiday here, it is, for a start, way too pricey for what it is. Food, drink, travel, all expensive. You could go to the Canaries and spend less than here. Bars near the hotel like the Dubliner which are dirty and unhygenic to Simplys bar which is full of dirt and grime and smells accordingly can charge Dublin prices for drink, but are buying their drink at a fraction of the price that Irish publicans buy drink for. So why do they see fit to charge these prices is anyone's guess.

The only redeeming feature of this resort is the beech and the bars by the beech like The Shamrock and Daniells Corner. The Shamrock provide quality bands and do not charge stupid prices like the Dubliner and is clean. Durty Nellys is worth a visit too. It was evident to everyone in our party that the beech is where the atmosphere and all the people are day and night. If you do go to Santa Ponsa head to the beech area where there are some great restaurants too. Look for Mrs Murphys kitchen, the best food in the resort and also Sams Place.

We have been going to Spain every year since late 80s and we think of Holiday Park Apartments and Santa Ponsa very highly. Holiday Park is the kind of place that makes you feel welcome from day one and makes you sad when you are departing. The reception staff, the waiters, the entertainers and even the pool cleaners are so friendly and so caring that we made friends with them. The hotel is always clean and the pool area is the place to be.

Food and drinks are exceptionally great at the bar. All in all it is a paradise under sun.

The hotel has a convenient location near everything and the rooms are large and clean with self catering amenities good for all ages.

The resort is a wonderful place and exceptionally looked after and there is always something happening by the beach every night.

This was our fourth trip to Santa Ponsa but unfortunately will be our last. However we cant fault the Holiday Park as we have stayed here 3 times from the 4 and it is excellent, its the resort that isn't, it has gone downhill so much in 7 years. Its got dirty, with less and less visitors every year. Bars like the Dubliner and Simplys insist on robbing people with drink prices and its putting people off the resort we think. However the beach bars have remained the same and are brill, its where all the people meet for fun!

Clean up your act Santa Ponsa and we might come back but hurry as we know a lot of our friends are heading for Turkey etc where they dont get ripped off.

Just came back from a 14 nights stay and we were very satisfied with Holiday Park apartments.

The rooms were spotless and large in size and the staff were exceptionaly good but the location must be the biggest advantage of this hotel.

We will defo. book the hotel for next August as every one of us enjoyed this hotel.

My father has a bad back and he finds it difficult to sleep on any bed and upon our arrival when we asked about the mattress for my dad the lady receptionist told us that his mattress was new but if we had any problems we should let her know. Well on the third day of our stay she asked us about my elderly father and we told her that he was fine and happy with his mattress but on the 4th day of our stay she left a note under my fathers door to speak to her and she had organized for an expensive Orthopedic mattress for him which is a luxury, and my father was over the moon with his mattress. He said he had never slept so well in all his life on holiday! Apart from that great customer service the food at the bar was terrific, the pool was lovely and the entertainment was great.

Excellent hotel. Felt we got a really good deal with this fabouls hotel. Ignore any negative comments because this is the best place our family have ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean day and night and day entertainment involves paiting for the wee ones, water games and pool competitions and many other activities.

The rooms are nice (big too) and have everything you need and the pool is spotless. The staff are the best in the world and ensure you have a brilliant time. You cannot go wrong if you book this hotel. As far as location everything is just a stones throw away, but at night it is quiet enough to have a good nights sleep.

OK I booked at the last minute and got a fab deal £900 for family of 4 for 2 weeks. Where do I start. Stairs, if youre not fit dont book here. Lots of drunken teenagers who party constantly we had to move room. 1 teenager was sick in the pool and casualy walked away disgusting.Rooms are so basic need lots of work on them. Entertainment poor day and night go to the square thats good. If you can afford to pay extra on your hol go somewhere better than this one. I wish I had.
