Mona is a girl with a huge imagination. She is a normal girl by day and the superhero Mona the Vampire by night. Her friends also transform too. She's obsessed with monsters and demons and in her daily life her kid's mind explains stuff that bothers her or appears out of the ordinary as something extra-ordinary which she must solve using her special powers. She thinks her babysitter is an alien or the local wax museum is populated by zombies or what have you. All sorts of scary situations ensue which get resolved in the end. This is a great kids cartoon which mixes the surreal with the real, think of it as a kids' cartoon Buffy the Vampire Slayer where the kids' imaginations and the trials of growing up are mixed with the supernatural. Great stuff.
