Bargain!!

Managed to get hold of one of these power machines for £250 has brand new clutch and refurbed gearbox. Drives amazingly and incredibly quick. Although I bought it cheap there was a fault with the power steering and alarm but, both have been cured for the sake of £30.

Has anyone put a turbo on one of these? I plan on using it for motorsport and wish to invest in superchargers, turbos and remapping.

Highly recomended. Plenty of space to work with under the bonnet!!

The Seat Ibiza Gti 16v Is A Good All Round Car And

the seat ibiza gti 16v is a good all round car and very under rated, blows off fiesta st's, golf gti's etc, needs to be driven hard and perfect gear changes to get the best performance, takes the abuse very well, mine is on about 80k miles and the engine runs sweet, nice and tight as you would expect from a vw engine block, handling is very precise and brakes are sharp, a much better alternative to a mk3 golf gti 16v, and quite rare,

This Is My Second Seat Ibiza, My First Was A Ltd E

This is my second Seat Ibiza, my first was a Ltd Edition Cupra Sport 16V that I had for 2 years but this is a fully loaded GTI with AC, Sunroof & Recaro seat's.

Love these car's as they tick all the boxes for reliability, build quality, safety but with the added bonus of a Golf Gti engine and gearbox in basically a polo Chassis and as we all know small car + big engine = loads of Fun, especially when you have a block one and everyone think's it's a 1.4 till you've blown their doors off.

Fuel consumption isn't great by today's std's but reasonable for a car of it's age.

I've modded the suspension and this has sharpened thing's up nicely, the brakes are fine as they are unless you go track day-ing you can stop the 16V on a six pence.

You cannot get a more well rounded car for the money, well actually for a lot more money I only paid £1,400 for a car with full electrics, Air Con, Recaro's and a 7.5 second 0-60 (they like all VAG cars get faster with age) that won't go wrong every 5 minutes and will stand up to any abuse I give it, plus they have a very cool and chilled enthusiast following and even SEAT Motorsport get involved with the clubs and give out prizes!

This car is the spiritual sibling of the original Golf GTI, small car + big engine + Day to day practicality & reliability that's bundles of fun to drive that can punch well above it's wait!!

This Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport 2.0 16v Gti Sports Car

This Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport 2.0 16v GTi Sports Car is fantastic. I previously owned 2 nissan micras which were great for reliability and practicality but lacked something very important to me - fun.

This ibiza cupra has stonking performance, 0-60 in 7.9 secs, which compares to the 8v's 9.4. It can also go on to reach 134+ MPH, owning to the 150bhp 2.0 mk3 golf VW engine under the bonnet. There is not much torque at lower revs as the 8v, but after about 3500rpm the car takes off as all 16v open to the max. Brakes are discs all round which provide decent stopping even at high speeds.

The 16v came with ABS as standard, as well as half leather seats and trip computer, but some models also had Sunroof, A/C and traction control as options. The GTi variant (not cupra sport) had most of these, so is the one to buy if you like to keep cool and keep the window up!!

Overall a great car, good handling, decent interior, great build quality (its basically a VW) and great performance.

You can get a decent one with around 70k miles on it for about 2-2.5k - what are you waiting for!
