rubbish company, charging first EARLY, and on paypal refunding, they lock ENTIRE account, pertaining to various, all paid up to date other domains.
Shoddy business practice.

Definitely dont use 123-reg.co.uk vps. It constantly crashes, the support is non existent and when the server finally crashes and you lose all your work documents and installed software the cowboy company refuses to refund or even apologise.
EaseVPS are far better. Have been with them for a few months now and never had a problem. During setup also the support were great.

Hello,
I work here at 123-reg. I can confirm that domain name renewals are charged 7 days prior to the renewal due date. This is to ensure that renewals are made correctly and give time for issues with billing for example to be recitified before the domain name expires, causing websites to be unavailable. Before each domain name renewal a series of renewal reminders are sent which inform of the upcoming renewal and advise that the domain name renewal will be taken 7 days prior.
Accounts are locked in cases where there is an issue regarding an outstanding invoice on the account. If you would like I would be more than happy to look into your case further to see what has occured. The fact that you charge early is entirely your policy. And "to give time for issues with billing for example to be rectified" should exactly mean that: you bill EARLY, despite cancellation, then paypal is entirely justified to reclaim the money that is not due yet.
And that is not even the point: It is the fact that you LOCK the ENTIRE account, despite having other, fully paid domains, thus denying access to everything. And this is a matter for the small claims court to address.

I am finding out now (reported to Fraud) that you tried twice to charge £24490 to my credit card upon my attempt to regain control of my domains (due was 24.49), corroborating the poor experience. i have emailed you on the "custoemrexperience" email, which I can only assume, means "customerexperience", so another indicator of the level of confidence one can have in your company. also, I am charged £1.20 AND £24.49 on the same number invoice. Which one is it? Oh dear!
I would recommend to users to report to ICANN, where required.
