Warning - Do Not Use Budgetair!
Made reservations for a multi-leg Asian trip. One of the airlines changed their flight schedule that resulted in a 22-hour layover. This did not work with my schedule.
According to BudgetAir’s written policy:
“Unfortunately, sometimes airlines will need to make adjustments to accommodate changes to aircraft and routes. We have no control or influence over this. If this is something that happened to your flight(s), you should have received an e-mail from us informing you of the change(s).
When a major change to your schedule is made, the airline needs your confirmation on how you would like to proceed. Your options are:
• Accept the change(s) and proceed with your rescheduled flight
• Change the flight to another option
• Cancel the flight
The e-mail you received from us contains all the information you need to confirm your choice.”
I received an email notifying me that a change was made in the flight schedule. When I ‘clicked’ on the email, to my utter surprise, I was not given the above options, but instead, I received an instant confirmation that I accepted the flight changes! I immediately sent an email to BudgetAir that I was not given the options as outlined in their policy and the flight change was unacceptable. I received a reply instructing me to use their ‘Live Agent’ chat.
I contacted BudgetAir via their ‘Live Agent’ chat and explained the situation. They said that since the flight changes were “confirmed”, there was nothing they could do. So, I asked for a telephone number I could call, and I was informed that their “telephones were not working’. I next asked if a supervisor could review my case. The “Live Agent’ refused my request. I made several additional requests via the ‘Live Agent’ chat to have my case reviewed since I was not given the options outlined above. Customer Service refused to review my case.
In the end, I was informed that the airlines that changed their schedule did not have another flight that worked for me and my only option was to cancel the entire trip.
Upon cancelling the trip, BudgetAir hit me with several ‘hidden’ charges and I ended up paying 31% of the original purchase price to cancel the trip. Beware!

Be Aware Of Budget Air, Worst Travel Agent Ever
I wish if I can give a star less than one . Pathetic , disgusting travel agent .
We have been trying to contact budget air since 29th Jan 20 with a request to change the itinerary. We been running pillar to post to somehow establish a contact with the provider but all in vein. The phone rings for 20 min and then gets disconnected. Also raised a complaint via email and FB messenger but no acknowledgment and lookin. I advice to refrain from booking services with this airline as there is no after service . customer services is absolutely pathetic. I am stranded helpless. I will be raising a complaint with regulatory authority later today if no resolution is provided by end of the day

Still Unable To Get In Touch To Change Flight Times...
I have had a nightmare as I need to change my flight times but I can't seem to get through on the phone, it either just rings out or I am on hold for ages. I'm really stressed and have tried emailing them but I just get rude responses and told to phone. I have asked for the complaints procedure three times and received no response. I'm at a loss what to do, I guess I just book with another company and then at least they don't get the money for the flight changes but it shouldn't be this stressful and unpleasant.
At one point I did get a response from a member of staff saying that I would be contacted and they would sort it our and waive fees, however, they never contacted me, do not respond to emails or answer their phone.
I would never use this company again and would strongly advise against anyone else using them.

Even if they are slightly cheaper, please DO NOT waste your money.
They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Horrible customer service where they can take weeks to get back to you.
I bought a ticket that I had to return as we couldn't make the flight, so I called them up even before the flight had taken place and they said the ticket was non-refundable. I spoke to the airline directly and they confirmed this ticket was refundable. Funny that!
I have spent over a year going back and forth, speaking to a different customer service agent each time who knows nothing about the case and just says "oh it is non refundable". I then provide the proof and am lucky if I hear back within a month from them. Sometimes they come back with "oh yes it's with the refund team" or most of the time "sorry no refund is available for that type of ticket". After 6 months they finally refunded.. the taxes. I couldn't believe it. I've spent more time than I care to remember dealing with them and it's just been frustrating.
An extremely infuriating experience. Never buy from this company. Incompetent doesn't even describe them.

Disgraceful Rip Off!!!
I would like to say disgraceful customer service, but actually there is none at all. I booked trip to Thailand for my sister and her family and due to unfortunate circumstances her husband can't make it. My sister found replacement and I tried to change the person name on the ticket. I was trying to replace him with my little nephew godmother so they do not fly this far alone! I have been trying past last 3 weeks and answer is the same "sorry sir your ticket is non-refundable" Even when you ask what is the weather like in Thailand. When you asking to speak to a manager, you are given either a false name or anytime of the day the manger is on break. After several attempts to resolve this issue, I was asked to call The flight operator for approval. I called Moscow to speak to Aeroflot, their advisors advised me that I can not change the name, but they can cancel with partial refund. After I called back and explained what Aeroflot has told me, the arrogant guy replied call them and ask refund from them then, and keep repeating it is non re-fundable, their T&C's are very blurry and very general, where it doesn't say clearly what the deal is. Three weeks of never-ending phone calls and still no resolution. And bearing on mind previous complaints, their replies are even worse! "Sorry if we were unable to help, however your feedback is appreciated" Which clearly they laughing in your face. So unless you don't want to get rip off, or simply being ignored by rude and arrogant staff who replies over the phone just briefly then AVOID as far as you can. Incompetent and arrogant telesales team. Emails are not being replied on time. And what is called "pushing the limits" is to ask me to cancel the whole reservation and re-book again, for another new full cost! I am shocked they are still holding licence to sell.

I SENT a urgent query regarding the booking reference number.
This was early yesterday morning and still no response. 11/11/2015
Apparently the flight to Hong Kong was delayed and Budget Air didn't inform us. Luckily we looked on check my trip and saw the delay.
We had to go to the Airport and change the tickets and this cost R1600.00 PER PERSON. TOTAL R 3200.00
We paid extra to Buget Air when we booked in case of changes. So I expect this to be refunded. We changed the tickets to 18/11
I will also be posting a bad report on Budget Air Service.
Disgraceful Customer Service
I called to try and book flights and after being given a quote I asked to proceed with the booking but I was informed that they were closing soon so they could not do it!! I have never heard the like of it, do companies seriously operate like this?? Customer service at its best...not. In the end up I called another company who where happy to take my booking and at a cheaper price also :)

Great deals, good customer service and nice looking website. I bought two tickets with them and they were the cheapest I could find. Also, they have nice promotions and contest and their social media contests are pretty cool!
