Do Not Buy This Rubbish
Fitted lindab guttering system on my new build house thinking it was up there with the best but inside has completely rusted through it now leaks everywhere it took less than 9 years to reach this point.contacted the company who couldn't care less.do not buy
Spot on! I've just realized I need to replace all my Lindab 5" Rainline gutters as they are rusting through. This has been caused by leaves in the gutter that have presumably rotted and made an acidic layer that eats straight through the 'self-healing' galvanized layer. These gutters have been cleaned out twice a year since installation in 2008, so they've clocked up 15 years before needing replacement - way less than plastic and way less than the 75 years Lindab estimates they can last!
Appalling Delivery And Customer Service
We've been waiting for the majority of our Lindab guttering order since the midde of October. They don't answer the phone and don't deliver when they promise to, anything that does turn up is incomplete. Our roofer will never use them again.

Rust Every Where On The Inside
I am a retired builder (fully qualified) and I decided to fit good quality rainwater goods to my retirement home as I wanted a durable long lasting product. OH HOW WRONG I WAS. BIG MISTAKE FITTING LINDAB.
The guttering etc was fitted in 2015. I went to clean the gutters out last month(April 2018) and to my horror THE LINDAB PRODUCT IS RUSTING ALL OVER ON THE INSIDE !
If you look around the house there is no sign of rust from the outside but it is in there destroying the product.
I emailed Lindab UK a couple of weeks ago and I am still waiting for someone to contact me to resolve the problem ( I hope ).
So in a nut shell my professional opinion is do not be fooled by their sales literature. THIS PRODUCT IS OF POOR QUALITY. The plastic guttering I fitted on my last new build house is 11 years old and still as good as new.
I will never fit LINDAB GUTTERING AGAIN.

Good Product If U Get What You Order.

Rust
My builder fitted "prestige" guttering to my new-build 8 yrs ago. Lindab guttering rusted through and leaking. I phoned lindab who say it's only guaranteed for one year.

Customer Service Stinks!
We ordered guttering and associated fitting at the end of November last year, on the 2nd of December we were told that by our supplier that some of the parts were in but the remaining would not arrive until the 23rd of December bearing in mind we would need scaffold to do the job 1. Which the customer did not want up over the Christmas break 2. Because of the Christmas holiday if we had of started the job the scaffold would have been up over a longer period and cost more. Therefore we decided to leave the parts at the supplier until after Christmas. When we started the job after Christmas we found several parts severely damaged obviously during delivery. We have been told that they will not replace the damaged parts because they were not inspected within 7 days of delivery? Not happy!

Poor Warranty
I chose this product for my selfbuild since I required a "quality" system to finish off my special home.
I was misled into thinking that it carried a 15yr warranty and that it was a greener product than the upvc system that I had been looking at earlier.
Here I am 10yrs down the road and need to replace most of the guttering and some down pipe fitting , due to rusting through!
Now Lindab are saying there's only a 3yr warranty -3yrs!! I obviously missed that bit of SMALL print!
Had I known this there is NO way I'd paid good money for a product that they have that much faith in -not-!
Be green-fit once - fit plastic , I say.

Muyang Steel Structure Plant
The project is done half now, and everything is good. Muyang team is very hard and scrupulous, at present, everything is ok. I wish it could be constructed greatly well.

Strong Stuff, Not Easy To Fit
It's very annoying to be told that a product is well designed and easy to install, if it isn't. I have had Lindab's steel guttering three times now, twice on rise and fall brackets for stonework, and once for a fascia. The product is expensive and the quality looks amazing. I don't think they have thought through the needs of the UK market, though. Using the R&F brackets (they are massively strong and heavy, as they should be, for the price) there is lots of scope for adjustment so not too many problems. Fixing to a vertical fascia which already has roof sheets overhanging it by an inch or two is something else. When standing on a ladder, it is near impossible to snap the gutter into the fascia brackets (type KFK)as the rolled front edge is so strong. I rigged up a clamp, but the gutter was being permanently deformed by the clamp and still it would not go in. The eventual solution is luggage straps - to compress the gutter by 20mm right along each 3m length before offering it to the brackets. Lindab do make another type of bracket (SSK) which opens at the front, but beware of this - on a vertical fascia you may only be able to use one screw, as the screwhead gets in the way. The company appears to know there is a problem. I spoke to the sales rep and he knew exactly what the problem is, his only suggestion was to set the brackets out on spacers, which in fairness does help, but what a PITN. The company's fails to answer emailed enquiries and one email to the sales address even bounced back undeliverable, something which I found hard to believe. Great product Lindab, shame about the service and some of the details.
This is a further update to my earlier comment and relates to a batch of Lindab galvanised guttering fitted on Lindab's rise & fall brackets on a house in Derbyshire. The job was done in June 2014. Now, in June 2015, most of the lengths of galvanised threaded bar Lindab supplied for the R&F brackets are rusty. The main components appear to be of excellent quality, but Lindab, a chain is as strong as its weakest link.
I posted the above review of Lindab guttering myself and would like to clarify that the problems I have had, relate to the brackets (fascia fixing). These are issues which Lindab really ought to sort out, as the product is good, really good in other respects.
