Would Not Recommend For Cbt
My wife took her CBT at RMT Motorcycle Training in Redditch. I would not recommend them as they do not offer the free additional training if you don’t get through on the first day as many other training schools do. They also don’t have their own training area and you have to use the very small Redditch BMX carpark that you sometimes have to share with car driving schools. I would highly recommend Camrider Motorcycle Training in Warwick where if you don't get through on the first day, then all other training is free of charge. It does not matter if you take two or twenty sessions, all your additional training is free of charge (you just pay for bike hire). All they ask is that you don't give up and attend all the training that they recommend. If they still can't get you through, they will refund every penny of your CBT fee, can’t be fairer than that! They also have their own large training area, much better than sharing the small BMX carpark that RMT in Redditch use.View less

I Passed 1st Time Mod 1 And Mod 2 Really Professional Instr
Please folks don't try and be cheap , you get what you pay for.If you want to pass your motorcycle test 1st time, and be a safe rider go with RMT don't risk your money ,time and potentially your life by going to a school or one that has not got a good track record , because at the end of the day you want to be a safe rider for life .The instructor's are great but you have to listen and practice what you learn .I passed first time with confidence. I made a minor mistake on the test, the examiner said he thought I was going to pass with NO MINOR'S, but I am still over the moon passing first time. Some guy's fail 3/4 times (can't believe it) . I would recommend RMT motorcycle training to my friends and family (my brother wants to do his A licence) . The instructor's are great and patient.
Thanks guys

First Class Training
Fantastic training. First passed my test years ago with them and when I came back to biking they were my first choice for a refresher. Have since done 'Take control'course and will be doing ERS and then avanced. When your partner took an interest they were my first choice for her.
Train with them and you won't be disappointed.

Cbt Training With Rmt
Just a quick note about the excellent (if a little wet) training day yesterday (3rd May). Both instuctors gave very professional, clear and sympathetic instruction throughout the day. Only two 'learners' with them.
This will be my return to motorcycle riding after some years and it was obvious that the instuctors knew their subject and quickly and accurately corrected my riding style concentrating on inculcating good habits and not just teaching how to pass the test.
The day certainly lived up to the glowing praise that I had heard beforehand.
I will definitely be back for more.

Professional Training And Pass First Time
I went to RMT for a DAS course after having had terrible experience with another company.
The staff and the trainers were excellent - with supportive comments and advice throughout the rides, and improving my skills by making small changes and building confidence. They focussed on creating good riding skills and not simply passing a test, and every lesson was enjoyable - even those where I was being told things I didn't want to hear!
The use of the real MOD 1 facility for training meant I felt well prepared for that part of the test.
I will be going back to do the Enhanced Riders course in the near future and would recommend them to anyone looking to ride.

They Do Nothing-but They Take Your Money
When I first booked a cbt , I was told the nearest is in 3 weeks time...I had waited. Before that day came , I got a call, one of the teacher went to hospital for an unknown reason..they told me next time is the next week...I had waited...When that day came I was so excited,I got my helmet, gloves, etc. I didn't wanna use theirs-everyone uses 3(!!) helmets and nobody had cleaned those...I had followed the map I was given on e-mail,and when I arrived there, the marked place on the map, was a factory!! After 45 minutes I found it...btw I asked 5 people-only 1 knew where it is...After 10 minutes they came out, hand shake-one of man's hand was covered in oil...but after a chicken or else...-they told me to give them my licence.I gave it. They said they can't accept my EU licence..I was p/ssed off, because I asked via phone 2x,they said "it's okay, that doesn't matter".I said if they tell me earlier I do the the change a month ago- licence changes take 3-4 weeks!! )They said even if I do the off-road test, I have to come back to do the road test anyway, and I have to pay everything AGAIN!!! I almost cried..they didn't care just called the other guy (that day was just me and him)...I went back to the train with my big pack, and I called the bank to close my account-they said the deposit been taken already...When I was waiting to the train-I felt like sh/t- I suddenly saw the RMT's van and behind it the learner bike!! They sent the other guy home as well and they left!! They were doing nothing and they took our money!! Do nothing get over Ł100 ,instead of doing an 8 hour course for 2 and get Ł40 extra!! Lazy b@st@rds , nothing else!! Now I'm just waiting for my licence and when I will get it the temperature will be 5-6...thanks rmt..If it's up to my I wouldn't give any star...
Totally Agree with you!

Great Day - 5 Star Training
I took the Take Control One Day Course.
After a nightmare, trying to find the place, I had an excellent days training.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful, plenty of coffee before, during and after the initial chat/instuction, with the instructor (Steve) paying particular attention to my own precived weaknesses and verbally covering what he was going to try and achieve out on the road.
Once out of the centre we covered all of the course aims with plenty of verbal feedback from me on how I thought I was doing and constructive replies from the instuctor on how I might improve in some of the areas.
To sum up, the day was well worth the time, effort and cost and I will certainly be taking up the offer of further training with a great group of people.
But I do hope they get more comfortable ear pieces for the comms.
P.S. Redditch centre is a bar steward to find, one wrong turn and you could be last for days lol

Great Training Company
No nonsense, straight talking and good sound, safe training. Great bunch of people and great club to go with it. Don't waste your time with others that talk the talk but have little else to offer.
CBT-DAS in a few lessons and only 3 weeks with only 1 minor fault (my own) on module 2.
Best In The Business !
After passing my test in 1995, I returned to motorcycling after a few year's away to go on a tour of New Zealand. Prior to leaving I completed a number of days of off road training, and I did a day Advanced Training with RMT. I was introduced to advanced riding which totally opened my eyes to how much more there is to learn. Following this day and a successful tour I bought another bike, and then completed my ERS course and successful IAM test pass. I am now gearing up for the RoSPA Advanced Test.
In my opinion RMT (and Simon in particular) is the best trainer in the business, his primary concern is to make you a safer rider, but is also very detailed in his analysis of riding and feeding back areas for potential improvement. His training is always fun, but improves your riding immensely. I will not be going anywhere else !

Rmt Training
I took my CBT and Full Motorcycle test with RMT and I plan to go back and do some more advanced training. As someone who had never even sat on a motorcycle before January I obviously had more than a few nerves on my CBT. I was put at ease and, even though it was a one day course, never felt like I was been pushed faster than I was comfortable with. The same with my training for the mod 1 /mod 2 test. They took me at a pace I was comfortable with and at no point did I ever feel like I was overloaded with information or asked to do anything I was uncomfortable with.
Overall, I can highly recommend them (and have done so to many people who are thinking of taking up motorcycling).
I first started my training with RMT 5 years ago where the help and support i recieved helped me pass my direct access first time. I have since had further training with RMT and successfully passer my ERS training, The level of training is fantastic and i am now proud to be a part of rmt doing my instructor training.
Top guys
