The Price I Was Given Was Increased An Hour Before
The price I was given was increased an hour before I picked car up ,slow to respond to emails sent,charged 60pound when cancelled even though policy was not isssued .proof of n.c.b.not accepted when it was a picture sent by email. Would never recommend them to anybody. DISGUSTED!!!

Don't Believe What They Say, Steer Clear
Despite buying a number of vehicles from this company they have changed their policies. Now it seems it is OK to lie just to gain an order.
During the sales process they are all over you, yes sir, we have this vehicle in stock, put a deposit down now to secure this. Yes sir, delivery WILL be within 7 days, we have the van, now can we have the payment.
So you make the payment, in full (in this case 18K). You know where I am going with this, no further contact.
After chasing them they advise "oh, sorry, did we say we had it in stock, no we don't have a delivery day, could be end of next month. We dont know. " One they have you money contact ceases. Naturally I did get my money back, however after much chasing and a threat to take them to court. Just beware, they say anything to get an order, once received you are forgotten and they move to the next sucker. Now I am sure some people will get a good service, just ensure you are one of those.

Absolutely Awful Attitude
I wished to cancel my policy within the 14 day cooling off period, i was told i was to be charged £ 90.00 for the pleasure to comply with the FCA regulations, upon checking the paperwork they still use the "Financial services authority" as a regulatory board, the Financial services authority disbanded in April 2014, it was replaced with the Financial conduct authority, so not only do they charge you without correct information they also provide false advertising, absolutely awful

Paid policy in full when I started it, I wanted to change vehicles over and they wanted to charge me£90 to do this, so I wanted to cancel! I had only had the policy 5 months in and was told that I wouldn't get a penny back! The three people I spoke to at customer service were awkward, arrogant and extremely rude! I never leave reviews normally, but this company are rip off merchants, I can only imagine what would happen if you tried to make a claim from them. Wish I had read reviews before going with them!

As above, sold van then got charged £90 to cancel the policy 6 months in. It was almost cheaper to carry on paying the premium. Total rip off.

Sold van and cancelled the policy we had through van compare was told that the fee was £90.00 plus the cancellation fee of the company we were insured with NOT HAPPY as was not informed of this when first spoke to Van Compare about cancelling. Have now lost £170.00 in Fees Will not recommend any one to use this company. The cop out is as normal read the Small Print!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most disgusting bunch of amateur's ever. I would recommend to leave well alone I have been treated like dirt by there staff they have no decency do not go there leave well alone.
I had bought a new Peugeot expert and when I asked how much more the insurance would be they told me it would be another 500 pounds on top of
my annual premium which was 420 pounds.
I got a quote direct from Peugeot insurance all in with instalments which was 470 pounds which I took.
when I asked to cancel my old policy at van direct they blatantly ripped me of. From my 420 pounds they sent me back 150 pounds for 3 months cover. When I asked for an explanation they said to stop phoning them and that they didn't have to explain at which point I got very angry and said a few words of my own.
This in mind never ever pay for your insurance in full always pay in instalments or you to could be left 300 pounds short changed

Just tried to get proof of no claims from them for my next insurer, been spoken to like dirt, auto renewal price is £100 more than they quote on Go Compare (go figure.......rip off maybe???). These people have no concept of customer service, I thank god I didn't need to make a claim!
