I was an avid fan of Weebly. It wasn't perfect but they tried and I have half a dozen low key sites including a couple of real business ones.

Then came Square.

First the made Weebly modular (i.e. so they can charge for everything cumulatively, instead of all in). Then they tried to take over the logins, finally forcing everyone to re-register and 'link'.

Worse they then try to force you to sign up for Square payments. Just get lost. I don't want or need to give you all the details of DOB, Address, Company name bla bla so you can spam me with high pressure selling.

If I could dump Weebly tomorrow, I would. All because Square ruined the startup kids.

I maintain 2 different websites through Weebly and I've got to say... I love it!

When creating a website, Weebly makes it so easy. The layout generator is simple to use and doesn't require html or text conversion.

It's simple to add video's, photos, even an online store!

I would recommend Weebly to everyone, even beginners!

I really liked using Weebly, it's cheap and easy to understand and use. I don't understand anything about how to make websites, but that didn't matter, it was just drag & drop.
