Booked a meeting room and heard nothing back so thought all ok. Only 2 days before the meeting they emailed to say it wasn't available. They then showed me that the venue had already informed them 5 days prior that it wasn't available and they did nothing for 5 days. Totally pointless, I just called another venue myself and got booked in. Its the most useless system I've come across for a while. Will always phone the hotel in future, its a middle man with no value.

Booked a meeting room in Northampton for the next day, they took our money, confirmed the booking by email just to email us back in the evening and tell us that the room is not available anymore. No sorry, offered us some cheap alternatives that looked like the back end of a pub. Wouldn’t do a gesture of good will due to to their incompetency. Absolutely poor service. Don’t use.

The guy who took my request seemed he knew what he was doing and promised to come back to me. However, he never followed up, and after several days, I received an automatic email saying that my request has been cancelled due to ME not finding a suitable venue. This is not a very professional way to say you failed to deliver what you promised. Not recommended.

Was looking for a meeting room in central London. Great selection of venues and the Instant book badged venue confirmed my booking instantly. So convenient and easy to book. Will definitely book with these guys again.

I needed a meeting room near Dublin airport. A quick search and I found the ideal venue in minutes, booked it online. Sorted. This is now my third time to use meetings booker and I'll definitely recommend them to others. Great work.

Great idea, being able to compare venues, prices, offers and facilities all in one place however in practice.....

You are generally waiting around for Meetings Booker or venues to get back to you - Not a good service for last minute bookings. You put through all your requests and it gives you the price, it then sends it to the venue to either accept or decline. Once accepted it takes a deposit payment of around 20%. You are then due to make your balance payment 7 days before the event, it isn't clear if they will take the payment or you have to pay it yourself so you get venues calling you huffily claiming you haven't paid and threatening to discontinue your booking despite having received an email from meetings booker saying the balance payment had been taken! The venue is able to add on any charges it likes for your original requests (which you would have assumed would have been included in the price given. THIS IS NOT CORRECT.) So you are given the price for your meeting say £250 and then 3 or 4 days before event are told the piece of av equipment or whatever is at extra charge and you now owe an extra £150 on top! I don't know about everyone else but I expect to pay the price I am quoted, being told you need to pay x amount and then the venue will throw on top any charges they so choose is of no use to me whatsoever! Especially as you have by then signed a contract and paid your balance amount so you don't have a leg to stand on! I won't be using again.

I had an important meeting this Thursday 29th at Manchester. I searched online and came across meeting booker and decided to book. They changed me 80 pounds and said they will let me know what the office they are using will say shortly. I waited the whole day at 3pm I called the office and they said it with the marketing department. I emailed them at 5pm and they said the office rejected.

I was waiting the whole day for a response, if they could have told me earlier I could have found some where else quicker so I don't have to rush around. Very poor customer service.

I do not recommend using these guys at all. They have wasted my time and they still have my money. So frustrating.
