David Salisbury built an Oak Garden Room for us in 2022. We have just spent our first Christmas and New Year in it. It has been well admired by family and friends.

This led us to feel we had to leave a review for David Salisbury.

The workmanship and quality of the building is exceptional.

We fully recommend this company. They were not the cheapest but the process and quality of the finished product was well worth the additional money.

This company worked with us over a 15 month period to design a bespoke orangery and obtain planning permission for a unique 3-metre round skylight. They were courteous and professional at all times. It was a difficult project, not least as the location was a private estate within a conservation area. Access for large vehicles was a very tricky issue. We are very pleased with the outcome and feel it was worth the wait and the fairly high cost involved. You get what you pay for; quality doesn't come cheap. This orangery has to last many years, so it was worth taking the time to achieve a very pleasing result.

Avoid at all cost. Enthusiastic and promising sales pitch really made us think that David Salisbury would be able to meet our needs. Promises made around deliverable timescales and features within the extension turned out to be totally misleading and a ploy to get us to sign the contract. Have text messages and voicemails telling us if we sign we would have all drawings ready to meet the timescales for our builders and ground workers. Fast forward 3 months to December, we have lost our builder and costs of the project had rocketed. David Salisbury agreed to cancel the order but then decided to keep our £30k deposit.

Have since failed to respond to any legal correspondence and we are now filing court proceedings to claim the money back. As with a number of reviews, get everything in writing. We are fortunate enough to have evidence during the sales cycle, but others haven't been as lucky.

The product itself does look of a very high quality, unfortunately we are unable to comment. At the same time it is a premium price and we expected a white glove service as per other reviews. They really need to work on their communication both internally and externally.

The overall quality of the Orangery I had built is very good and the initial sales patter was enthusiastic and seemed very promising, however....when it comes to communication, get everything on email!

The promise of an August delivery turned into October and now, in the first week of December I'm still waiting for it to be finished.

They were on the ball when it came to taking the stage payments from me, but after, communication just dried up, even when I emailed for updates it took nearly a week for a reply.

The fact is they use sub contractors to do the work, so have to wait for them to finish other jobs, which doesn't help!

The whole after sales needs a good shakeup, for the cost of thIs product it should be white glove service, not 'we've got your money now on to the next one'.

I wish they had been honest and upfront on the timescale from the start, it would have saved a lot of aggravation.

Having gone through an extensive review of the market we finally decided on David Salisbury, our decision was reinforced after a visit to the factory to review the manufacturing process and the finished product that was on show for other customers , the standard of manufacturing and the dedication and care in making the Orangery was very evident

We particularly liked the personnel we interacted with and the integrity shown, the designer listened carefully to what we wanted and produced a design that fitted perfectly to our brief, the resulting rendition fits completely to the now finished orangery

We are absolutely blown away with the finished Orangery it’s more than exceeds our expectations, the quality of the product is second to none, the standard of installation was truly amazing the personnel who installed the orangery and the project manager really cared about what they were doing this is so often missing in other suppliers. What is very gratifying is when we have visitors they are also blown away by the space we have created and the quality and attention to detail of the Orangery.

I have no hesitation in throughly recommended David Salisbury it produces and installs a fantastic product made to an amazing standard and is backed with caring personnel who go the extra mile to make their customers happy

We had a high-quality David Salisbury orangery installed by high quality staff. The design, construction, service and quality of all workers involved could not be faulted.

We looked for a new orangery for 15 years getting quotes from many many companies.

Eventually we bit the bullet and went with David Salisbury and we are so pleased we did.

From the designer who took us through the design and sales process to the project manager of the build, and finally the first class fitters.

At this point we could not be happier. The quality of the product and installation has been superb and we would highly recommend David Salisbury!

We love our new orangery by David Salisbury and use it every day. It looks like it has always been there, so well does it fit in with the house. It fills with light and sun, when there is any, and we are starting to wonder how we managed without it

We moved into our dream home and we felt it lacked just something extra special so we decided some type of orangery would finish off our home. We spent many hours reviewing the markets available and decided to contact David Salisbury to discuss the option of a new oak orangery. We had already spoken with many other companies but we soon realised that their attention to detail set them apart from the competition. Their local sales person was a highly creative and skilled designer and created a concept that was complementary to our home and we just knew it was the right thing for us. The installation process went extremely smoothly and we had regular communication from the David Salisbury project management team throughout, they answered all questions immediately. The finished product is even better than we could have imagined and really has made a fantastic space that is enjoyed by the whole family. If you are considering an orangery extension for your home, we would happily recommend David Salisbury without hesitation.

My wife and I are delighted with our Orangery. The workmen were exemplary, tolerating my inquisitiveness as I am a keen DIY enthusiast. The work was closely monitored by inspectors and carried out to a high specification.

They were the workmen that we saw but behind it all there was was an army of workers (factory and administration) that were obviously involved to produce such a high quality product. Our thanks go to them.

In a questionnaire I was asked how could they improve. My answer was --" Well I am struggling. How can one improve on perfection?" From my experience in business I emphasised that it is necessary to identify the constituent parts that produce that perfection. Consistency can then be maintained.
